• The Band 1 – Desktop Technician will provide day to day local\remote desktop support, receive inbound calls, answer questions, troubleshoot and document steps performed to resolve challenges with hardware, software and application issues in a ticketing system. • Experience in Spring 4.x / 5.x / 6.x and Struts 2.x frameworks, SpringBoot and/or SpringBatch would be added advantage.
• Domain knowledge of Financial Clearing and Payment Systems and ISO20022 standard is a plus.

Position Description

This position is responsible for supporting sales team in achieving sales target and growth of all NEWAY® products business within the stated region for NEWAY with direct responsibility for distributors/agents in the region.

Main Responsibilities

· Handles sales enquiries and prepare quotations to distributors, customers in the timely manner

· Work closely with the Sales Team and provide technical support to customers

· Process sales orders to HQ, and manage the orders from sales orders to delivery

· Keep track of order status, update distributors & customers on order, delivery status

· Coordinate with HQ, liaise with distributors and customers on delivery shipment, payment issues, collection of payment

· Liaise and resolve any sales issues with respective customers

· Track quotes and provide weekly / monthly updates to Management.

· Develop and maintain good customer business relationship

Qualifications/Requirement.

· Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

· Candidate with valves and actuation experience is an advantage

· Working in similar valves line or practical knowledge with Ball, Butterfly, GGC valves and its associated actuators will be advantage

· Good command in English & Chinese to liaise with HQ associates & customers

· Proficient with Microsoft Office and SAP is a plus point

· Good communication skills and able to liaise with factory

· Independent, articulate, strong technical knowledge and a team player

· Singapore Citizen or Singapore PR only.

Troubleshooting Computer hardware , software and Determine the best solution based on the issues and details provided

Provide on-site support for hardware and softwarerelated incidents,

Perform periodic preventive and corrective maintenance, updates to software/hardware (e.g. anti-virus software)

Deploy and set up hardware, software, and network connectivity of end points.

Individuals who are PUNCTUAL, RESPONSIBLE and good COMMUNICATION/INTERPERSONAL skills

Person with eye for details and proactive problem solver (ability in fast processing)

Good documentation skills

Must be independent, proactive and self-motivated

Requirements:

Preferably at least 2 years and above IT desktop support experience in the similar position

Qualifications

Study at Nitec/Diploma in IT or Computer science related field are in advantage

Knowledge in VMware and Windows 10 Environment (preferred)

Good understanding of computer systems and other tech products.

The Desktop support responsibilities are:

• Provide IT technical onsite support for end user services problem which includes identification, diagnosis, rectification, and escalation.
• Installation, re based desktops, notebooks, printers, scanners hardware components. Examples of such components are hard disk drive, CD-ROM drive, DVD-ROM drive, CD/DVD writer, multimedia kit, random access memory, processors etc.
• Installation, re-installation, troubleshooting and reconfiguration of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft applications that are found in the Desktop PCs and Notebook PCs. Examples of such software are Windows XP/7 OS desktop OS, MS Office, Internet Explorer, MS Outlook, MS Outlook Express and Chinese version of the similar software, etc.
• Installation of customer’s access and in-house applications.
• Provides support for queries, escalation, problem determination, resolution, and MAC – move, add and change.
• Printer Maintenance
• Provide Offsite Standby support for emergency incidents / cases after office hours on a rotational basis amongst the team personnel.
• Duty event of a dropped / missed call, the duty engineer is to return call within 15 mins of the dropped or missed call.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate/NiTec /Diploma/ Bachelor’s Degree level in Computer Science/ Information Technology or equivalent.
• Able to work in a banking environment and open for shift work in case required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (emails, Excel)
• SCCM (familiar with packaging) & must have printer troubleshooting experience.
