Involves overseeing the technical operations of tanker vessels on tramping trade with Oil majors and oil traders.

This role typically includes ensuring the maintenance, repair, and compliance of tankers with international regulations, managing budgets, coordinating with equipment maker, shipyards, repair companies and suppliers, and ensuring safe and efficient operation of the fleet. You should be independently assist ship staff in troubleshooting technical issues, and work closely with regulatory bodies, Classification societies, local administration to ensure adherence to SOLAS, MARPOL & prevailing maritime laws and safety standards. Regular overseas trips to inspect ships will be required. Ability to handle occasional work pressure. Job Description

• The Band 1 – Desktop Technician will provide day to day local\remote desktop support, receive inbound calls, answer questions, troubleshoot and document steps performed to resolve challenges with hardware, software and application issues in a ticketing system. The candidate will also need to facilitate customer resolution for calls and engage their supervisors and managers to ensure operational consistency across all shifts within the IT Support Center.
