Key Responsbilities
- Oversee and manage day-to-day maintenance and operations of all rides and attractions, ensuring smooth and efficient functionality.
- Coordinating with teams to address operational needs and resolve issues promptly.
- Develop and enforce routine maintenance schedules (daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly) to ensure optimal performance and safety of rides/attractions.
- Supervise the maintenance crew to ensure inspections and repairs are performed accurately and documented comprehensively.
- Implement effective defect rectification processes, including root cause analysis and prompt resolution of faults.
- Lead, mentor, and equip the technical team with the necessary skills and tools to perform their tasks efficiently.
- Conduct regular training sessions to ensure the team complies with safety standards and operational guidelines.
- Proactively identify and report abnormalities, defects, or malfunctions for immediate rectification.
- Coordinate contingency plans during breakdowns or crises, including emergency response and evacuation procedures.
- Plan and manage maintenance and operational budgets, ensuring cost efficiency, including staff overtime costs.
- Plan for future operational and maintenance requirements, aligning with long-term system and organisational goals.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the reliability and efficiency of rides/attractions.
- Advise and collaborate with station teams to ensure quick resolution and minimal disruption.
- Ensure all safety measures and maintenance standards are met to achieve zero injury rates.
- Maintain comprehensive records for audits and compliance, including checklists and maintenance logs.
- Undertake additional tasks and projects as directed by the Head of Unit (HOU) or Head of Department (HOD).
Job Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Field or any other Engineering Field
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
- Possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage emergencies and effectively coordinate large teams.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to upholding safety and compliance standards.
- Experience in resource planning, budgeting, and process improvement initiatives.
- Certification in Work at Height, Workplace Safety and Health, Fire Safety / Fire & Rescue Coordinator etc is also of great importance.
