In this position, you will provide support to Process Engineers in the characterization of new and existing products, maintaining and improving metrology tools, and ensuring process excellence in a high-volume biotech production setting. You will collaborate extensively with various departments including Manufacturing, Equipment Engineering, Analytical Sciences, Facilities, Supply Chain, and Quality Assurance to support new product releases and continuous process improvement.

Scopes & Responsibilities

• Assist Process Engineers in troubleshooting, sustaining, and continuously improving production lines for consumables related to new product development, yield, quality, and throughput.
• Design and execute controlled experiments to optimize processes, while documenting and analyzing results.
• Support MES ticket handling and process verification/validation activities.
• Conduct nonconforming material analysis and investigations.
• Recommend and implement process improvements to meet production goals across multiple operations and technologies.
• Coordinate execution of equipment and process validation, data collection, and report summarization.
• Collaborate with Engineering/R&D teams to develop and refine processes for new and existing products.
• Maintain and update technical documentation, including technical requirements, drawings, and work instructions for engineering and consumables production lines.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Sciences, or related field.
• Experience in manufacturing within a FDA-regulated environment is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes within a regulated biotech or medical devices environment.
• Ability to execute test plans for components, materials, systems, and processes effectively.

• Broad experience in designing, programming, and implementing large distributed systems with microservices.

Essential Requirements (Skills Requirements)

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
• 8+ years of technical experience within architecture development, integration of backend systems and development.
• Strong Hands–on experience in developing applications using Java/J2EE, with Spring boot framework knowledge and experience.
• Deep knowledge of SOA, Architecture and Design on Microservices, REST Services and Soap Services Development.
• Experience in core java fundamentals, Java 8+, Spring, Springboot, testing framework Junit, Cucumber.
• Strong hands-on with design patterns, clean code.

Job Description:

• Assist Job Manager to attend to technical and design issues at site and report issues to Job Manager
• Provide standing supervision as and when directed by the Consultant team.
• Check through construction drawings and highlight any discrepancies found between or within the same disciplines prior to the commencement of installation works.
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance to approve drawings and specifications.
• Ensure adequate safety precautions are enforced on site.
• Resolve all site issues and ensure timely completion of the project.
• Attend site meetings, site inspections, testing and commissioning.
• Maintain site records.
• Estimated commencement of work in January 2025

Job Requirements:

• ITE certificate / Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognised tertiary institution.
• Accredited with IES-ACES Joint Accreditation Committee (JAC) with valid RTO Practising Certificate
• Minimum 5 years’ working experience as a Resident Technical Officer.

Requirements

• Fresh / Entry-level / Relevant Experience for NTC2 / ITE / Diploma in Electronics or IT Engineering background. Certificate for Electronics / IT Engineering will be required upon interview.
• Experience in site coordination, PM and installation works.
• Experience in the Installation and commissioning of devices for Electronic Low Voltage (ELV) systems (examples: Intercom, FDAS, ACS, BMS, BGM/PA, Nurse Call, CCTV, Alarm System, etc.)
