Job Responsibilities
1) Develop and maintain technical documentation:
- Create and update user guides, manuals, tutorials, and other instructional materials for L&D programs and tools.
- Ensure documentation is accurate, complete, and easy to understand for the target audience.
- Use a variety of media to create engaging and effective documentation, such as videos, infographics, and simulations.
2) Collaborate with SMEs:
- Work closely with L&D professionals, trainers, and other stakeholders to gather information and ensure the accuracy of technical content.
- Conduct interviews and research to understand complex technical concepts and translate them into clear and concise language.
3) Edit and proofread:
- Review and edit technical documentation for clarity, grammar, and style.
- Ensure consistency in terminology and formatting across all documentation.
- Stay current with industry best practices:
- Keep abreast of the latest trends in technical writing and instructional design.
- Continuously improve documentation processes and standards.
4) Provide guidance and mentorship:
- Mentor junior technical writers and provide guidance on best practices.
- Contribute to the development of the L&D team's technical writing capabilities.
Job Requirements
- Diploma/Degree graduate in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or any other related fields.
- Possess 8-10 years of related working experience.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Possess good communications skills and able to work with different stakeholders.
