Roles & Responsibilities
· Conducting on-site inspections to monitor construction progress and quality of work.
· Ensuring that construction activities adhere to safety regulations and guidelines.
· Reviewing and approving construction drawings, materials, and method statements.
· Coordinating with QPS team, contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve any technical issues that may arise during the project.
· Keeping detailed records of site activities, including daily reports, progress updates, and quality control measures.
· Review and check all the drawings, specifications, and to ensure that works are carried out in accordance with the approved plans/drawings.
· Providing technical support and guidance to the project team to ensure successful project delivery.
· Collaborating with relevant authorities and agencies to obtain necessary approvals and permits for construction activities.
· Participating in site meetings, inspections, and audits to ensure compliance with project requirements.
· Ensuring that all construction works are carried out in accordance with approved plans, specifications, and contractual agreements.
Job Requirements
· Minimum Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
· Relevant experience in construction supervision, preferably in civil engineering projects.
· Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and construction practices.
· Familiarity with construction site safety procedures and regulations.
· Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
· Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with contractors and other stakeholders.
· Certification as a Resident Technical Officer (RTO) by BCA/IES/ACES.
· Willingness to work on-site, including irregular hours and weekends if required.
· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Candidates with prior HDB BTO or LTA projects experience are encouraged to apply.
