Key Responsibilities:

• Documentation Creation:
  • Develop comprehensive technical and functional documentation, including user guides, system manuals, API documentation, process flows, and training materials.
  • Work with software developers and product managers to understand system functionality and produce clear, concise documentation for various audiences.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly documentation for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Maintain documentation repositories using tools like Confluence, Jira, and Excel, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and version controlled.
• Business Analysis:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.
  • Assist in translating business requirements into technical specifications that developers can implement.
  • Ensure alignment between technical solutions and business needs by reviewing project deliverables and providing feedback.
• Project Support:
  • Participate in project planning, helping to define scope, objectives, and timelines for documentation deliverables.
  • Manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously, ensuring that deadlines are met without compromising quality.
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and end-users to gather feedback and continuously improve documentation and project processes.
• SDLC and Agile Familiarity:
  • Work within the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and contribute to Agile project teams, ensuring that documentation is created and maintained in an iterative, collaborative process.
  • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and reviews to stay informed on development progress and adapt documentation as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Technical Communication, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Technical Writer, Business Analyst, or in a related role.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Ability to grasp and communicate complex technical concepts clearly for diverse audiences, including developers, project managers, and end-users.
