Job Description:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Technical Communication, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Technical Writer, Business Analyst, or a related role, with a focus on creating both technical and functional documentation.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Ability to grasp complex technical concepts and translate them into easily understandable documents for various audiences.
• Experience with documentation tools such as Confluence, Jira, Excel or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of software systems, APIs, databases, and enterprise architectures.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.

Contract Period:

From 15 Jan 2025 for 10 months to 20 months depending on the project requirement

Duties and responsibilities:

· To perform all roles and responsibilities required of site supervisors under the Building Control Act.

· To supervise the timely execution of the works and maintain quality control and ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with the contract specifications, drawings, allocated timeframe, all other contract documents and site instructions.

· To check all drawings and specifications to ensure that works are carried out in accordance with the approved plans for discrepancies and report to the Client, SO, SOR, QP and Resident Engineer.

· Check shop drawings submitted by contractor, as-built drawings and Operation and Maintenance Manual submitted by contractor; and ensure that the required construction tests in connection with the construction works are carried out where necessary.

· Submit site daily reports of works done by contractor including daily manpower and equipment status on site to Client and Consultant Team.

· Inspect and maintain records of equipment/machinery/licensed machinery operator/permits (both statutory and aviation requirements)

· To ensure that the structural elements or critical works of the construction works are being
carried out in accordance with the approved plans and with any terms and conditions imposed by the Commissioner of Building Control where necessary.

· To ensure that proper and updated records of all works, including records of variation works, tests, inspections, work progress, materials and equipment/machinery on site, labour safety, provisional quantities, dayworks, etc, are kept.

· To take and carry out instructions from and represent the Client, SO, SOR, QP and Resident Engineer/Architect on site.

Shall possess the following minimum requirements and practical experience stipulated below:

· Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering or an equivalent certificate from a recognized institution/university or acceptable to the Commissioner of Building Control.

· Registered RTO (with BCA / IES / ACES) with Min. 5 years of RTO experience, institutional Project working experience preferred

· Good understanding in construction drawings and specification for Structural and / or Architectural works

· Familiar with Singapore Building Control Act and Construction Regulations.

· Good knowledge or experience in several aspects of construction activities

· Experienced in Coordinating Architectural / Structural works with project team

· Leverage proficiency in one or more technical areas, such as cloud platforms (AWS), databases (Oracle, MS SQL, PostgreSQL), operating systems (Linux/Windows), Java frameworks, or DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD).

· Ability to effectively balance people management responsibilities with delivery execution.

· Experience/knowledge of AML solutions.

· Experience in vendor professional services or delivery organizations, delivering enterprise-level solutions.

· Financial Services Industry experience.
