• Liaison with Contractor on work schedule, progress, work quality, site safety and quality control etc.
• Ensure works carried out by the Contractor are in accordance with the drawings and specifications, approved work methods and schedule.
• Liaison with relevant authorities and local communities for works executed on site.
• Carry out site supervision duties as specified under BCA regulations and report to the project QP and Project Engineers.
• Give regular feedback and report to the Consultant on the works progress, as well as improvement items pertaining to safety, supervision, security, construction, maintenance, etc.

Job Requirements:

• Registered with IES/ ACES with min 5 years relevant working experience of civil and structural works in construction sites.
• Must be fully conversant with BCA Regulations; able to maintain systematically site records, government contract documents and meet BCA reporting requirements.
• Degree / Diploma in Civil & Structure Engineering or local Polytechnics in Building with experience in supervision of civil & structural works.
• Experience in supervising major earthworks, roads and drainage works, PUB pipeline works, bus shelters and associated works would be advantageous.
• Required to travel and work at a few sites.

RTO RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Assist QPs, Client on site to ensure that all works comply fully with regulatory and client's requirements.

· Work closely with QP(Str), QP(Arch), Client's Project Manager, EHS and other key project stakeholders, regulatory authorities and contractors to provide planning, monitoring, supervision, reporting and communicating/ escalating site non-compliance, quality, unsafe and potential delay.

· Assist to implement and sustain the site supervision quality & safety assurance system.

· Carry out supervision of structural, civil and building works by identifying any non-conformity of contractor's works on site.

· Understand drawings & contract documents in carrying out the works.

· Carry out regular site checks on contractor works & ensure compliance with technical requirements and health and work safety in accordance with MOM regulation.

· Ensure that proper site documentation for ongoing works, site meetings, safety records, method statements, shop drawings, as built submissions etc., are well managed. Weekly site progress report, including activities, tracking against schedule and list of non-compliance etc.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Diploma in C&S Engineering from an institute accredited by the Professional Engineers Board, Singapore

· Must be accredited as a Resident Technical Officer with BCA/IES/ACES

· Minimum 5 years of C&S and architectural work experience in supervision of industrial development with good knowledge of structural and building works, precast structures, structural steel, post-tensioned and local construction practices.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel.

· Good supervisory skills.

· Good team player.
