The aircon technician will be involved in the maintenance, repair, and installation of different types of air conditioning systems. Reporting to Shift Supervisor, this position will execute and maintain manufacturing process operations by physically performing the task of process control, equipment monitoring and in-process analysis to ensure the production process strictly follows company safety standards and environmental regulations and product quality is within customer's requirement.

Responsibilities:

• Support Shift Supervisor in handling plant start-up, shutdown manufacturing process according to established procedures
• Support production activities such as in-process quality testing, catalyst preparation, equipment preparation for maintenance, loading & unloading of process solvents
• Perform all routine task required to maintain manufacturing process such as monitor process parameters, plant patrolling, data logging and housekeeping
• Perform safe work practices through following safety regulations and supporting safety programs
• Ensure safe working conditions through taking corrective actions to maintain equipment and process condition within safe operating limits
• Perform company emergency response in areas of firefighting, rescue and loss containment
• Maintain plant safety equipment through routine checks
• Execute predictive maintenance to identify and prepare equipment for maintenance before breakdown
• Prepare or update standard operating procedures based on acquired experience and new technical know-how

Requirements:

• Diploma in Chemical Engineering or Chemical and Pharmaceutical Technology, NITEC in Chemical Process Technology or Higher NITEC in Chemical Technology or a related discipline with at least 4 years of relevant experience

• Knowledge in Distributed Control System will be advantageous

Micromil Carbontech Pte Ltd, established in March 2014, will hire a Process Technician (Lab and Pilot Plant) to work in the domain of laboratory and pilot-plant design/commissioning/operation for our proprietary process. The person will play a supporting role in providing chemistry and chemical engineering capabilities to the laboratory and pilot plant in a start-up environment. Job Description/Key Responsibilities

Work under guidance of the reporting officer in the following activities.

1. Provide support in design, building and commissioning of laboratory space and the chemical processing systems, associated equipment, and components where applicable.

2. Provide support in developing procedures for testing, including validation protocols for the same.

3. Work with vendors/regulatory bodies/partners where applicable.

1. Operation of the system in Batch, Feb-Batch and Continuous mode for producing the products.
2. Ensure compliance to OHSMS/relevant regulations and follow industrial best practices.
3. Collect and summarise experimental data.
4. Be able to lift weights of up to 25kg as fixing and dismantling laboratory scale reactors is required.

Job Requirements

NITEC or higher educational qualification with relevant process and safety knowledge. 2+ years of experience.

Roles:

Process Technician will be part of the Operations Team responsible for ensuring Operations processes run smoothly as per production plan. The incumbent is expected to be proficient in troubleshooting and resolving operations and process issues.

Responsibilities:

• Manage safe start up and shutdown of process/unit
• Ensure routine tasks and operations checklists are completed as scheduled
• Issue and close safe work permits and ensure work activities are carried out safely
• Ensure proper handover and takeover during shift change

• Experience in DCS operations and controls
• Supervisory skills is advantageous

Job Description:

• Prepare and operate CNC machine tools to perform drilling, milling and other tasks.
• Able to understand the specifications and expected results of the task at hand by reading design drawings, mechanical drawings, etc.
• Translate instructions into computational commands so that the machine can perform the correct function.
• To supervise and monitor when the machine is performing task and able to make necessary adjustments to produce better results.
• Have experience in operatingt a milling machine.

Skills:

• Know Mastercam CNC machining programming software system/G-code.
• Able to read and understand mechanical documents and drawings, such as 2D/3D.
• Must have a basic understanding of computer programming.
