EDUCATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

Education: NITEC or Diploma in Material Science or Chemistry or equivalent.

Knowledge: Organic chemistry, analytical chemistry

Skills: Microsoft Office, LIMS, SAP

Soft skills: Self-driven team player with good communication skills; able to plan and prioritise

· Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with IoT devices, sensors, cloud-based platforms, and networking protocols

· Troubleshooting Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, especially in identifying issues with hardware, software, or connectivity.

· Communication: Ability to explain technical issues and solutions to stakeholder clearly and concisely.

· Networking Knowledge: Understanding of network infrastructure, IP addresses, routers, and firewalls.

· Hands-on Skills: Comfortable working with hardware, including installation, wiring, and setup.

At the Balestier branch, despite having a higher caseload for first opinion patients, we do occasionally get referral cases. Also, we see a variety of species which can range from dogs and cats to small furries and birds as well. On a monthly basis, we do organize clinical rounds to benefit both vets and nurses to continue brushing up our knowledge and to grow as a clinic to provide high standards of care.

Aside from the interesting caseloads, our friendly boss and surgeon has a Membership in Small Animal Surgery. He has a high surgical caseload that covers most soft tissue, oncology and orthopaedic cases. This is the perfect opportunity to impart some of his skills as he loves inspiring young minds. On top of that, internal referral to our 24h branch is fairly straightforward, and you will be able to easily track the progress of your patient between the branch.
