• To comply with duty roster ensuring 365/24/7 coverage
• Liaise with technical supervisor/engineer on all technical and operational related matters
• To troubleshoot and rectify all technical complaints on GOW and assist in the creation of a technical SOP
• To perform maintenance on GOW and report to technical supervisor with technical recommendations, considerations and issues
• Maintaining a “critical” spare part holding scheme, maintaining a personal tool kit and assisting in security sweeps and as when necessary
• Other ad-hoc duties as and when assigned

Requirements:

Responsibilities / Duties / Job Description / Job Scope / Accountabilities
• Asssit the QA Executive in ensuring product quality are met and standards (ISO, Food safety) are properly implemented and updated.
• Conduct quality check (tests and inspections) for in-coming, in-process and out-going goods for all production lines and all products produced.
• Conduct sample testing for new product and/or trial for new materials
• Inspecting output samples using established procedures, such as comparing to standards, measuring dimensions and functionality tests.
• Checking that the assembly or production line adheres to standards and procedures and complying with legal and customer's requirements.
• Reviewing Proof sheets and specifications to compare to produced goods.
• Recording inspection results by completing reports, summarizing sorting results and input data into quality database.
• Monitor the use of equipment to ensure it is safe and discard any that does not meet requirements.
• Keeping measuring equipment operating accurately by following calibration requirements and highlights for repairs.

Secondary Responsibilities:
• O Level/Quality Management, Food Technology or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year experience in Quality Assurance role preferably from the packaging industry
• Knowledge of ISO9001:2015, HACCP and Food Safety Management System implementation.
• Basic knowledge of computer use (Word & Excel)

• Assisting in setting up the test equipment for production and engineering team.
• Handle all Test & Backend Equipment sustaining i.e. Bench, ATE, Handlers, Thermostream, ICOS, Laser Mark, etc.

Requirements:

• Nitec in Electronics / Electrical Engineering, Mechanical, Biomedical, Mechatronics
• At least 2 years of relevant working experience
• Able to work from 7am - 7pm
