Job Description:
* Operate machines and perform LASIK related tests on ophthalmic equipment (e.g. Intralase, Excimer) in the operating theatre and the diagnostic room
* Ensure the operating theatre is in optimal condition for surgeries and that machines/equipment are functioning smoothly
* Prepare LASIK case notes at least a day before the surgery
* Arrange routine maintenance of equipment/fixtures (e.g. Intralase, Excimer, Dehumidifier, and OT doors)
* Perform front counter duties including patient registration, dispensing, booking of operating theatres, collection of payment, providing financial counselling, handling of enquiries through phone calls or email, and appointment fixing
* Ad-hoc duties as and when assigned by the Clinic Manager or Doctor

- Min optometry, opticianry qualification / technician / biotechnology or bio-engineering qualification or experience

Responsibilities

· Enter prescription information including but not limited to: patient searches, prescriber searches, drug selection, prescription interpretation, insurance billing, and basic documentation.

· Dispense medicine when needed

· Accept customer and prescription information required to process new and refill prescriptions, including refill authorization from doctor offices.

· Retrieve medication from inventory.

· Create prescription labels and put them on prescription containers.

· Place medication into prescription containers.

· Complete paperwork related to filling prescriptions and input customer and prescription data into the computer.

· Assist with maintaining the Pharmacy department by keeping it clean and in order.

· Assist in inventory management processes including order review, inventory returns, restocking shelves, and physical inventory preparation.

Requirements

· Min Dip / Deg in Pharmaceutical Science / Pharmaceutical Chemistry / Other relevant certification

· Meticulous and a team player

· Good communication skills

· Knowledge of MS Word, Excel
