Job Summary

The Lead Repair Development Engineer, Laser Ablative Technology, is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing laser ablation processes in cooling holes clearing application. The primary responsibility of a Production Process Technician is to support the efficient and safe operation of the plant's production processes. They play a crucial role in ensuring that equipment and systems function optimally, production runs smoothly, and product quality meets the required standards.

1.2. Job Description / Responsibilities:

1.2.1. Ensure the smooth operation of the production plant.

1.2.1.1. Follow work SOPs.

1.2.1.2. Observe safety rules and 5S.

1.2.1.3. Ensure cleanliness of work area, upkeeps equipment and assist in the maintenance program and operating of production machinery and equipment.

1.2.1.4. Assists in loading and unloading of ISO tanker, raw materials, carries out chemical waste sorting, waste transfer and stock keeping.

1.2.1.5. Collect process data.

1.2.1.6. Routine plant logging

1.2.1.7. Conduct site walks to discover abnormalities.

1.2.1.8. Conduct material weighing and charging (PA & RE)

1.2.1.9. Assist TL in troubleshooting plant issues.

1.2.1.10. Grade change cleaning activities (PA & RE)

1.2.1.11. Perform confine space Tank cleaning (PA & RE)

1.2.1.12. Reactor cleaning (PA)

1.2.1.13. Conduct process gas and product sampling using gas chromatography (RE)

1.2.1.14. Perform weekly PH meter calibration (CHE & PA)

1.3. Requirements:

1.3.1. Min “O Level or equivalent or NITEC in Chemical Engineering or equivalent

1.3.2. Fresh graduate acceptable

1.3.3. Relevant working experience in a chemical manufacturing industry is an advantage.

1.3.4. Computer-literate able to perform data entry and use Microsoft Excel

1.3.5. Good communication skills

Responsible for performing installation, commissioning and after-sales service support in all sales territories.

• Attend to preventive maintenance and service breakdown calls
• Provide technical support to the sales team and customers
• Provide installation & commissioning support to the customers
• Obtain new sales opportunities through the service visits
• Participate in Key Trade shows and to help with the set-up and demo of all equipment on exhibit
• Setup and assist the customer during product testing in our workshop
• Maintain high level of service and relationship at all times with the trade to gain the best support in the industry. This includes participation in professional association meetings outside of regular business hours.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or any other engineering background preferred
• Those with pharmaceutical service background and experience will be highly advantageous

• Bilingual in English and one other language (Bahasa Malay/Mandarin) preferred

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated NDT Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will perform calibrations, non-destructive tests, and evaluations for acceptance or rejection determinations according to approved procedures. You will work closely with a team of NDT Specialists to ensure high-quality results. This is an entry-level position, and training will be provided.

Job Responsibilities:

• Set up, standardize, and perform system checks for non-destructive testing methods.
• Perform specific testing codes, standards, and other contractual documents applicable to the methods utilized.
• Interpret and evaluate results for acceptance or rejection, and document findings.
• Collaborate actively with the Planner and participate in team activities.
• Observe all applicable safety requirements and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Carry out other assigned duties as directed by the NDT Level 3 and the Quality Manager.
• Follow safety regulations.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Position Requirements:

• Physically fit and able to lift and maneuver heavy components/parts.
• Must pass a vision acuity examination with or without corrective lenses and meet vision requirements for color blindness.
• Willing to work rotating shifts.
• Willing to work overtime when requested or due to urgency.
• Willingness to be trained in NDT.
