We are seeking a dedicated IT Support Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations across all departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Β· Provide technical support to stakeholders, mainly internal users like employees and management, addressing hardware and software issues promptly.
Β· Serve as the first level of escalation for all IT-related inquiries.
Β· Install, configure, and upgrade computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
Β· Monitor and maintain computer systems, networks, and related equipment.
Β· Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and resolving hardware or software faults.
Β· Set up new user accounts and profiles, ensuring security and access protocols are followed.
Β· Perform backup and reset for user accounts and equipment.
Β· Conduct regular system updates and backups to safeguard data integrity.
Β· Collaborate with external vendors for hardware repairs and IT procurement.
Β· Document technical issues and solutions, maintaining an updated knowledge base.
Β· Assist in the implementation of new IT projects and initiatives.
Β· Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by manager.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Β· Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Β· 5 years and more experience in a similar IT support role.
Β· Proficiency in operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and Linux.
Β· Familiarity with network configurations, including basic LAN/WAN, routers, and firewalls.
Β· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Β· Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
Β· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Β· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
