JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In fulfilling the requirements of the post, the Science Laboratory Technician will aspire to the highest standards of professionalism and will, in particular:

▪ Schedule the availability of, prepare and provide apparatus, equipment and other teaching materials as requested by the Science Teachers in the Faculty. These may include chemicals, biological material, equipment, models, and disposable material such as stationery.

The Science Laboratory Technician will:

▪ Have a complete CLEAPSS Hazcards reference for all chemicals in the prep room

▪ Ensure written Science Laboratory Technician specific Risk Assessments are in place for all equipment, apparatus and materials (as necessary) prior to their use, and writing and preparing the risk assessments as necessary.

▪ Provide CLEAPSS Hazcards every time a chemical is used in class

▪ Comply with all Health and Safety standards and regulations issued by Stamford and external agencies including NAE, IGCSE, IBO, CIS, and WASC

▪ Main First-aider within the faculty (Training will be provided).

Technical Support (assisting others to plan for use and use equipment)

The Science Laboratory Technician will:

▪ Assist teachers, as requested, to facilitate student learning with respect to specific outcomes

Preparation of practical materials for classes

The Science Laboratory Technician will:

▪ The system in place shall allow the laboratory technician ample time to prepare the materials required for a class. If special consumable purchases need to be made, teachers should allow a week, or arrange purchases themselves.

▪ Teachers can expect labs to be prepared on time if two days notice is given. Labs will be cleaned from classrooms on the day that they are noted as completed.

▪ It is not the lab technicianʼs responsibility to plan lab activities for classes. Lab activities should be planned as an integral part of a unit and designed to achieve specific learning outcomes.

The pharmacy technician coordinates and performs as necessary the activities of a pharmacy service area. He/she dispenses drugs under the general supervision of pharmacists.

The Pharmacy Technician will assist in procurement, inventory control of pharmaceutical products which include daily dispensing, discharge counselling, medication reconciliation and resolving medication related issues, assists in daily operations of the pharmacy, assist in preparing inventory, prescription intervention, billing, and reports.

Job Responsibilities

• To perform the full spectrum of pharmacy services from procurement, inventory management, distribution, billing, reconciliation, dispensing and medication education.
• To assist in research, quality assurance and improvement programs.
• To assist in the compiling and analysis of data e.g. medication near misses, procument, adjustments and audits.
• To assist in the training, supervision and mentoring of new staff, junior staff, volunteers, and attachment students.
• Housekeeping of the pharmacy.
• To perform other duties as may be required.

What you might need to have:

• Possess a Diploma in Pharmaceutical Sciences or Pharmacy technician certificate.
• Basic knowledge of common medications.
• Relevant experience in hospitals will be an added advantage.
• Open to fresh graduates with the relevant certificates (with internship experience in hospital and dispensing experience are preferred)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Meticulous, good team player with excellent communication skill.
• Service orientated.

Job Requirements

• Act as first level support for the factory automation team.
• Attend to day-to-day systems issues, perform troubleshooting systematically and come out with solutions.
• Coordinate with equipment and process engineering team to ensure data collected by business systems is accurate, relevant, and critical for monitoring purposes.
• Assist in providing briefing, guidance, and training to end user on the implementation of new feature or enhancement developed by automation team.
• Participate in system enhancement initiatives by collecting user feedback and suggest improvement idea, potentially helping to develop and implement them.
• Create and document best practice on using automations systems for end user.
• Support system testing activities on machine by automation engineer.
• Manage server, computer that fall under automation team responsibility.
• Actively demonstrate a passion for continuous learning.
• Any Other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Following Requirements are a plus:

• Working experience in Clean Room.
• Experience with SECS/GEM Equipment Automation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Installation, configuration, testing and commission for CCTV System

- Design and implementation of large-scale analogy and IP CCTV network

- Server management, configuration of CCTV application software, Wireless CCTV system and remote access for client monitoring and controlling of the system by control station

- Integration of CCTV system with access control and BMS : Installation ,configuration, testing and commissioning for access control, Intercom, alarm system

- Maintenance, installation, onsite fault analysis and replacement of a wide variety of equipment such as:

• Intrusion Alarm systems – Bosch, Craddx & NetWorX
• Access control systems – In-house product, Pacom, Lenel, Bosch
• CCTV systems – Lenel, Axis, Bosch, Panasonic, Pelco, FLIR

- Installation, testing and commissioning of CCTV Systems, Intrusion Detection System, Door Access System, Turnstile, Flap Barrier, Mantrap Capsule and Road Barrier System

- Configuration of IP

Qualifications:

- Min. Secondary Education/ Diploma/ WSQ Cert

- Min. 5 years working experience

• Perform Corrective and Preventive Maintenance of wafer fab manufacturing equipment.
• Support the running of production in the module and ensure the readiness for production
• Maintain 6S practices in the Fab and maintenance support areas
• Participate and follow up on continuous improvement projects
• Provide clear and accurate pass down of line issues and documentation

Requirement

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical) or equivalent.
• No work experience required.
• Preferably Entry Level specialized in Engineering - Mechanical/Automotive or equivalent.
• Work overtime during weekends and public holidays
• Working in cleanroom
