Job Role/Level Associate Engineer, Contracts

▪ To assist in coordination and logistics management of:

o Staff security clearance matters

o Client device delivery

o Client device staging and image distribution

o Client device deployment & OS upgrade scheduling

o Client device acceptance

o Submission of Declaration Form & billing (if any)

o Support Project Manager on administrative matters (eg. Purchase etc.)

▪ Track and compile project report regularly.

▪ Update assets records of client devices handled by project team.

▪ Work with project team in ensuring that the client devices’ inventory records are updated & accurate

▪ Work with project team to handover the client devices for O&S

▪ Monitor, track & review the Project migration output and key project progress milestone.

▪ Submit the progress reports to Project Manager

Technical Support and Troubleshooting

· Provide first level support for end-users, including handling software and hardware issues.

· Install and configure new hardware and software, basic Wi-Fi setup, ensuring it integrates seamlessly with existing systems.

· Main projects involving but not limited to inflight point-of-sale solution, inflight marketplace, RFID inventory management.

· Create monitoring jobs to report status/issues for key activities.

Technical Skills

· Knowledge, familiar with C#, basic debugging.

· Basic understanding of Cloud technologies.

· Hunger to learn and apply new technologies across platforms.

· Proactively validate the current tech used and suggest areas for improvements.

· Good to have: Kotlin, React Native, mobile app knowledge.

Project Management

· Assist in the planning and implementation of IT projects, ranging from system upgrades to new system deployments.

· Coordinate with different departments to ensure IT projects align with business objectives and timelines.

· Monitor project progress, address any issues that arise, and ensure projects are completed on schedule.

· Participate in user acceptance testing, develop test cases.

Business and User Liaison

· Collaborate with business users to understand their IT requirements and challenges.

· Translate business requirements into technical specifications for vendor implementation.

· Provide training and support to users on new systems or functions.

· Act as a bridge between the IT team and other departments, ensuring clear communication and effective collaboration.

Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

· Prefer 2-3 years of experience in Systems Engineer or a similar role.

· Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems, as well as common software applications.

· Must equipped with knowledge and familiarity with C#.

· Good to have knowledge with Kotlin, React Native, and basic debugging.

· Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues with hardware, software, and peripherals.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused attitude.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide remote and on-site technical support, including but not limited to, Incident Management and Problem Management

• Escalate incidents, problems, changes to Team Lead, Service Delivery Manager, Account Manager or vendors as per defined business rules, ensuring timely resolution of client service requests

• Liaise with vendors needed to achieve incident and problem resolution.

• Maintain detailed knowledge of clients’ environments, where applicable, by maintaining and updating relevant documentation.

• Provide high levels of customer service and resolving problems/issues with the client in a constructive manner.

• Prepare adhoc reports as required for contractual requirements.

• Contribute to ITIL based processes to ensure successful delivery of services and initiate solutions to improve quality and productivity

• Participate in client presentations when necessary

Job Requirements:

• CCNP or CCIE in Enterprise is required

• Hands-on experience in installation, configuration and troubleshooting of Cisco routers, wireless or switches

• Have some working knowledge of Cisco Routers, Switches, SD-WAN, DNA, Wireless products in addition to Meraki Switch, Router, Wireless products

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology or related disciplines

• At least 3 years of experience in a technical support environment working with Cisco products

• Experience with VMWare NSX and VMWare Load balancers, is an added advantage

• Knowledge of Aruba, Bluecoat, Ironport, F5, Checkpoint, Fortigate or Juniper products is also preferred

• Corporate with the constrcution manager to supervise and manage the site to meet the various goals of the project.
• Corporate closely with subcontractors to monitor the progress of small towns and coordinate the work resources required by subcontractors to meet project requirements.
• Corporate with goverment personnel to conduct on-site inspections.

Requirements & Qualifications:
