Roles & Responsibilities

The Site Engineer (Building) is responsible for assisting on the progress of site works and manpower related aspects of the project.

The responsibilities of this position are, and not limited to, as follows:

• Monitor and supervise Engineers / foremen, ensure compliance to the quality procedures & standard of workmanship. Checking on quality and quantity of work by subcontractors.
• Preparation of detailed program for the site team to follow accordingly & completed in time.
• Resolve drawing discrepancies & technical difficulties with Technical team.
• Coordinate between sub-contractors/vendors/internal departments and monitor site manpower / material / equipment demands to meet schedules.
• Liaise with the Consultants on the submission related to structural works and Technical Department.
• Plan all works on site, including program schedules and construction methods, forecast equipment, material and manpower requirement, and control usage and wastages of all.
• Adherence to safety practices in the work place.
• Any other duties that may be assigned to you from time to time as your superior / management deem fit.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Education: Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Experience: Prior 3 years experience in building projects

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain CDN architectures to optimize content delivery.
• Configure and manage CDN services to enhance performance.
• Monitor CDN performance metrics and analyze traffic patterns to identify areas for improvement.
• Provide effective troubleshooting solutions for technical issues encountered during content delivery.
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and network operations teams to resolve complex technical problems.
• Collect and organize customer feedback to provide insights and improvement suggestions to the product and development teams.
• Maintain strong customer relationship by providing after-sales technical support through phone, email, and online chat.
• Implement security measures to protect content delivery from threats such as DDoS attacks.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience working with CDNs (e.g. Akamai, Cloudflare, AWS CloudFront).
• Networking Knowledge: Deep understanding of networking technologies and protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching; familiarity with network topologies.
• Programming Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as C, Java, Python, JavaScript, and HTML for developing and optimizing CDN services; experience in scripting for automation using languages like Python.
• Language Skills: Fluency in English and Mandarin is required for effective communications with clients.
• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to details, strong communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functinal teams, and the ability to work independently as well as in a group setting.

This position requires shift work with the following schedules:

• AM Shift: 7.30 AM to 3.30 PM
• PM Shift: 3.15 PM to 11.30 PM
• Night Shift: 11.15 PM to 7.30 AM

Job description:

· Commissioning, Maintenance, Repair & Troubleshooting of marine electrical & mechanical equipment onboard vessels and in company premisses/workshop ( i.e. Burners, Boilers, Scrubbers, EGE, EBG, GCU and supporting systems).

· Ability and willingness to travel on short notice onboard vessels in region, but occasionally also globally.

· Employees must have ready valid travel documentation, passports, visas, seaman book and vaccinations as required to travel.

• At least 1 year of experience delivering land development projects from pre-concept design to the site phase for clients such as Local
• Government Authorities and/or Private Developers.
• Preferably, 1 year of on-site experience during construction phases.
• Proficiency in highway, paving, and reinstatement design; utility, drainage, and sewer works design; authority submissions; and tender and construction drawing preparation.
