Responsibilities

The computer vision / image processing engineer is responsible for developing and implementing algorithms and software tools to process and analyse images for various object detection applications from multiple real-time mission-critical image sources, such as electro-optical, thermal imaging sensors and other sensors.

The job scope includes:

• Research various imaging systems and validate them.
• Using optical metrology techniques, calculate and calibrate cameras for outdoor real-time mission-critical applications

We are seeking an individual with Building Management Systems technical experience for the position of BMS Project Engineer at Fortis Construction Pte. Ltd. Singapore operations.  The candidate will work directly with the BMS Project Manager and the subcontractors throughout the design and construction phase of the largest multistory data center in Asia (The Project).

Reporting to the BMS Project Manager, the candidate will be accountable for ensuring the work required; such as, submittals, RFI’s, coordination drawings, updating documents, etc., are complete, ready, and approved for the Building Management Systems (BMS) Subcontractors to perform their scope of work in the strictest of compliance to the contract documents.  This role is focused on working with the Senior Commissioning Manager and BMS Project Manager who are responsible for the BMS Subcontractor operations and installation for a large complex data center project, having stringent technical requirements.

It is expected the candidate will be a very detailed individual with previous experience working as a MEP Project Engineer on data center projects and or other complex technical projects.  There will be a significant amount of “hands on” work coordinating approved design documents and ensuring installed work in the field comply with such documents.  The candidate must have strong Emotional Quotient (EQ) skills and be able to relate to and communicate with the client, the Fortis Construction Pte. Responsibilities:

• Ensure that managed subcontractor's work is coordinated through design, preconstruction, shop-drawing production, field installation, testing, startup, and commissioning 
• Work with subcontractors to develop and maintain internal schedules and ensure that all proper elements are tracked on a weekly basis
• In conjunction with the OFCI, QAQC and Commissioning managers, develop OFCI equipment delivery sequences, installation procedures, QAQC checklists, startup and commissioning procedures

• Will be responsible for consolidating and developing Major Hazard Installations (MHI) safety case to ensure compliance of all applicable laws and regulations, codes of practices and Global EHS Standards to support API plant operations not limited to essential programs like Process Safety Management (PSM), Workplace Safety & Health, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical, Control & Instrumentation, Human Factors, Emergency Response, ALARP, Audit, Incident Investigation and cGMP

How You Will Achieve It

• Organize, manage and submit process safety documentation to the respective regulatory agency.
• Comply with the regulatory requirements of “safety case” report.
• Develop and review Major Accident Prevention Policy and Health & Safety Management System with guidance from Process Safety Manager or EHS Team Leader.
• Manage and consolidate technical assessments on predictive, process safety, mechanical engineering, electrical control & instrumentation, human factors, emergency response and ALARP.
• Plan and prepare for compliance audits according to the requirements of all applicable codes of practice, local Major Hazard Installations (MHI) regulations and Global EHS Standards. 
• Work with minimal guidance from Process Safety Manager or in partnership to review the work processes of process safety hazard identification & risk controls, major accident scenarios, process hazard analysis, incident investigation and management of change, and identify areas for improvement to enhance the robustness of these processes.
• Maintain and upkeep documentation and records of PSM programs and/or safety case in the state of readiness for compliance inspection and/or audits.
• Consolidate and develop process safety awareness training package. In partnership with Process Safety Manager to conduct the training for colleagues onsite.
• Organize and facilitate PHA (HAZOP Studies) and PHA revalidation and complete all relevant in a timely manner

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Bachelor degree in chemicals / process safety / mechanical / environmental engineering or science (pharmaceutical or chemistry).
• Technical know-how in process safety engineering, QRA, or PHA is essential
• 5 Years relevant experience within the pharmaceutical API or related industries; incumbent as technical role with good knowledge of dispersion modelling, QRA is advantageous.
• Good knowledge and application of stipulated codes of practice (e.g.ANSI/ISA-18.2-2009, SS506 part 3, API510, Singapore Fire Safety Act)  is advantageous

Nice-to-Have

• Experience working in manufacturing environment, with Good Manufacturing Practices {also cGMP} or Information Security Officer

Job Description

The candidate must have 5+ years of experience in a Data Engineer role with a degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Information systems or similar fields.

Key responsibilities include:

· Designing and building scalable data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from a variety of sources.

· Maintaining and optimizing existing data pipelines and automating data workflows such as data ingestion, aggregation, and ETL processing.

· Working with data analysts in Fintech space to understand data needs and design appropriate data models.

· Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate data pipelines with other systems.

· Ensure data accuracy, integrity, privacy, security, and compliance through quality control procedures.

· Monitor data systems performance and implement optimization strategies.

Minimum Qualifications:

· Strong development experience in at least two or more of the following languages: Python, Java, Scala, Go.

· Experience with working on large data sets and distributed computing in Enterprise using technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Kafka, etc.

· Proficient with building data pipelines and workflow management tools. Should have worked on Airflow, Nifi or related tools.

· Working knowledge of message queuing, stream processing systems like Kafka, Spark Streaming.

· Hands on experience working with NoSQL databases (like Cassandra, MongoDB, or Neo4j) and relational databases (like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle)

· Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Superset, or similar tools.

· Working knowledge of data quality, data governance, and data security principles.

Good to have:

· Experience with data science and machine learning tools and libraries (e.g. scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.)

· Cloud computing experience (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure)

· Cloudera Certified Professional Data Engineer, IBM Certified Data Engineer, or similar certifications.

· Must be aware of data privacy and security concerns and regulations (e.g. GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
