Job Description
As a BIM Engineer, you will report to the Senior Design Engineer and be responsible for the successful implementation and management of BIM processes in the construction field, specifically focusing on Building Services, Airconditioning, and Mechanical (M&E, ACMV) works. (A) Job Summary:

A Lifting Engineer ensures safe and efficient lifting operations on construction sites. He is responsible for planning and overseeing the use of cranes, verifying personnel roles, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

(B) Essential Job Functions:

• The Lifting Engineer is responsible, but not limited to, the following:
• Coordinate lifting operations, ensuring compliance with safety rules, regulations, and hazardous condition monitoring.
• Ensure the proposed crane location is sufficiently compacted to safely bear the crane's force.
• Investigate crane accidents, near-misses, and occupational injuries to determine causes, implement preventive measures, and manage return-to-work activities.
• Evaluate and coordinate lifting plan programs, including strategic safety planning.
• Provide technical advice, coaching, guidance, and mentoring to the lifting crew on safety initiatives and necessary changes.
• Verify that the lifting supervisor (LS), crane operator, signalman, and riggers understand their roles in ensuring safe lifting operations.
• Establish and manage a system for the maintenance and inspection of all lifting-related equipment, including gears, appliances, points, and machinery.
• Ensure all statutory equipment undergoes regular inspection and maintenance, with proper documentation.
