Job Overview:
As a Service Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the continuous functionality and optimal performance of AV systems. You will be responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and providing technical support to our clients.
Responsibilities:
· Install, configure, and calibrate AV systems, including projectors, displays, audio equipment, and control systems.
· Conduct preventative maintenance, routine inspections, and system upgrades.
· Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, both remotely and on-site.
· Collaborate with the project team to ensure successful system integration and client satisfaction.
· Provide technical support to clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
· Document all service activities, including equipment inventory, maintenance records, and service reports.
· Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies to make recommendations for system improvements.
· Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills and certifications.
Qualifications:
· A degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field is preferred.
· Previous experience in AV system installation, maintenance, and support.
· Proficiency in using various AV equipment, control systems, and software.
· Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
· Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
· Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills.
· Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
· Relevant certifications in the AV industry, such as CTS (Certified Technology Specialist), are a plus.
Working Conditions:
· The role may require working in various environments, including corporate offices, educational institutions, and event venues.
· Some projects may require working evenings and weekends to accommodate client needs.
· Travel to client sites within the designated area may be necessary.
