As a Test Engineer, your primary purpose is to drive quality, yield, and productivity improvements. You will manage the new product release to manufacturing and address any problems affecting the smooth operation of parts. You are responsible for all testing activities related to the transfer of new testers from the design center to the manufacturing plant, including working with the design team to qualify new test systems and propose test limits. Job Description

• Analyse industry standards and documentation such as API 6A, 17D, and other specifications. And develop product requirements for new product introduction.
• Create designs for prototypes using required techniques and manufacturing processes
• Analyze and recommend improvements to production processes to enhance cost efficiency and product quality.
• Design and develop manufacturing processes for new products, product changes, and enhancements.
• Identify and resolve issues in manufacturing processes to improve product throughput.
• Manage NPI projects, ensuring they meet deadlines and regulatory requirements.
• Design testing methods,test product and process capabilities, and establish quality standards.

Requirements

• Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• At least 2 years of relevant working experience is preferred
• Fresh graduate with strong background in related engineering discipline will also be considered

Responsibilities:

• Repairs, preventive maintenance and trouble shooting of precast automatic production machines and overhead cranes
• Able to interpret electrical circuit and mechanical drawings including pneumatic and hydraulics system
• Sound knowledge in PLC, inverter drives and direct-on-line controls
• Able to oversee maintenance team
