  • Lead complex data migrations using tools such as 7MTT, StorageX, rsync, and XCP, including migrations from heterogeneous systems (e.g., EMC to NetApp) and upgrades (e.g., 7-Mode to C-Mode).

  • Implement best practices for capacity planning, utilisation reporting, and performance monitoring, and provide recommendations for optimising storage efficiency.
• Disaster Recovery (DR) & Business Continuity Planning (BCP):
  • Develop and maintain storage-based DR strategies, including SnapMirror, SnapVault, and SVM DR configurations.
  • Execute disaster recovery and business continuity tests in collaboration with network, server, and application teams.
  • Implement and maintain backup and restoration procedures to ensure data protection and rapid recovery in the event of system failures.
• Client Consultation & Relationship Management:
  • Provide expert consultation to clients on storage best practices, system architecture, and troubleshooting strategies.

Requirements:
