RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure the development of new products and the assurance of current products that are robust, reliable, top quality, with delightful customer experience in product usage.
• Define, develop, and contribute to innovation projects, including:
  • New product development
  • Introduce or evolve product test methods
  • Conduct field studies and experiments
  • Develop and prove the hypothesis with correlation studies/experiments
  • Process digitalization and automation
  • Data analytics and visualization
• Provide training to MPa or test partners to facilitate PQC (Pre-Qual check), SNV (Safety net validation), and System testing, as well as technical support if needed.
• Requirements of analysis; test planning, execution (functional & integration test for both apps and software), and reporting.
• A validation system was developed to assess the design holistically through the customers' lens.
• Conduct gamma testing on products nearing release, following defined test plans and scenarios.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and quality assurance teams, to ensure issues are understood and resolved effectively.
• Other duties that may be determined by Management.

• Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical/Electronics, Computing, or any field of Engineering with programming/scripting skills.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in reliability testing or a related role.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and testing methodologies.
• Experience with electrical test equipment and instrumentation.
• Proficiency in data analysis and statistical tools.

What You’ll Do

1. Testing Lifecycle Management

• Oversee the end-to-end testing activities of an integrated e-payment system.
• Plan and execute testing strategies, ensuring alignment with business and system requirements.

2. Test Preparation and Execution

• Design and develop comprehensive test cases tailored to system designs.
• Prepare test environments, execute test procedures, and automate solutions using scripting or programming languages.
• Optimize system performance through rigorous testing and fine-tuning.

3. Quality Assurance and Defect Management

• Create traceability matrices to ensure all requirements are tested effectively.
• Log, track, and resolve defects to ensure quality standards are met.
• Conduct root cause analysis on defects and address gaps to enhance test efficiency.

4. Collaboration and Documentation

• Engage with internal and external stakeholders during test reviews.
• Develop detailed design documents and user manuals for test automation solutions to support end users.

What We’re Looking For

Qualifications & Experience:

• A degree in Information Technology or Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in testing and test automation solutions for devices (UI-based or embedded) and back-office systems.
• Familiarity with the full system development lifecycle—from requirements gathering to deployment.
• Certification in software testing is highly desirable.

Technical Skills:

• Strong capabilities in test planning, design, and execution.
• Experience in automating test solutions using scripting or programming languages.
• Familiarity with diverse testing phases, including System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Performance Testing.
• Background in micro-payments or automatic fare collection systems using smart cards is an advantage.

Job description

• Test program development for Digital, PMIC, RF & Mixed Signal products on ATE (primarily on Advantest 93k - SmarTest 7, SmarTest 8 / Teradyne UFLEX)
• Work closely with the design engineers on the first silicon debug, device characterization, test program bring up and production release activities
• Debug of digital vectors (JTAG/SCAN/ATPG / Functional / Mbist) and Device characterization across PVT (Process, Voltage and Temperature)
• Understanding and experience in characterization of Mixed Signal IP (ADC, DAC, PLL and etc.)
• Involve on test program hand off, production release, yield improvement and test time reduction
• High level of collaboration and interaction with different Product Engineering, Design Engineering, Quality Engineering, and Foundry Engineering teams.

Job Requirements

• Graduates from Diploma/ Degree in Electronics / Electrical Engineering
• Minimum Minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience on the Test Engineering is preferred
• Hands on experience on Teradyne Ultra Flex or Advantest 93K ATE’s is added advantage.
• Good Knowledge of analog and digital electronics is desired.
• Strong analytical and problem solving ability with desire to perform hands-on work within a lab environment is a must.
• Very strong verbal and written communication skills and able to work independently
