Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute QA strategies for Data Warehousing (DWH) and ETL projects in Agile environments.
• Create and maintain ETL test scripts using SQL or Python.
• Perform automated testing using tools like Query Surge or equivalent.
• Test and validate data on Snowflake, Hadoop, Teradata, and relational databases (e.g., MS SQL Server, Oracle).
• Conduct testing for both on-premises and cloud-based systems.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Identify and escalate issues, risks, and challenges proactively.
• Follow and implement software testing methodologies and lifecycle best practices.
• Contribute to banking-related projects by leveraging domain expertise.

Required Skillset:

• Experience: Minimum 10+ years in QA for DWH/ETL projects.
• Automation Testing: Hands-on experience with tools like Query Surge or similar.
• Scripting: Proficiency in SQL and Python for ETL testing.
• Data Warehousing: Deep understanding of ETL processes and DWH concepts.
• Databases: Testing expertise with Snowflake, Hadoop, Teradata, and relational DBs.
• Banking Domain: 2-3 years of experience in banking-related projects.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills.
• Teamwork: Proven ability to work collaboratively and independently in a dynamic environment.

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Experience in data migration testing for cloud or on-prem systems.
• Familiarity with automation scripting languages and defect triaging.
• Exposure to project management and Agile methodologies.
• Industry expertise in the banking sector.

Requirements

1) Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical)

2) Specialist Diploma in Construction Productivity by BCA will be an added advantage
