Clinical services:

• Provide screening, identification and assessments for students with varying learning difficulties, particularly in the areas of reading, spelling, decoding, comprehension and writing.

Job Holder requirements and attributes

• Possess at least a recognised degree from a recognised University, in any discipline area.
• Teaching qualifications or equivalent in Special Education is preferred
• Trained in specific learning approaches, such as Orton-Gillingham, Lindamood-Bell and/or other relevant remedial approaches.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in providing learning support to children with literacy challenges and/or learning support experience for students at Primary Level.
• Prior experience working in the field of special education and/or working with individuals with special needs is an added advantage.
