Key Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in children aged 4 to 12.
• Develop therapy plans based on each child's unique needs, continuously monitoring and updating these as necessary.
• Engage children using age-appropriate therapy techniques to improve their communication skills.
• Collaborate with parents, caregivers, teachers, and medical professionals to implement comprehensive treatment strategies.
• Maintain detailed records of each child's therapy sessions, progress reports, and evaluations.
• Educate family members on different aspects of the therapy process and provide strategies to support the child’s progress outside of therapy sessions.
• Stay up to date with advancements in the field of speech therapy and integrate new methods and technologies into practice.
• Promote a supportive, patient-centred environment that encourages children’s active participation and self-confidence.
