Since October 2011, Thye Hua Kwan Moral Charities (THKMC) was incorporated as a charity with an IPC status to provide multiple social and welfare services to the community at large.

THK Therapy Service Division (TS) provides occupational therapy, physiotherapy and speech language therapy services to THKMC programmes and other community organisations. TS adopts a holistic client and family-centred care approach by working with transdisciplinary or multidisciplinary professional teams, families, and other community partners. Through individual and group therapy sessions, TS addresses the various needs of clients ranging from paediatric to geriatric.

The Senior Occupational Therapist / Occupational Therapist is directly involved in the provision of therapy services related to developing and maintaining one’s capacity throughout life, to perform tasks and roles essential to productive living including self-care, daily living, leisure and work for children and/or adults. The Senior Occupational Therapist / Occupational Therapistis is responsible for the assessment, intervention provision, and management of caseload given. 1. Provide consistent professional spa massage (either body or foot) in accordance with spa standards.

2. Ensure high level of service standards

3. Responsible for the maintenance of cleanliness and neatness of the spa facilities, Treatment rooms and other parts of the spa.

4. Responsible preparing the necessary treatment products, replenishment of stocks, towels supply etc.

5. Handle customer queries and concerns efficiently and politely

6. Follow and comply with the instructions given by Spa Manager

Requirements

1. Preferably with ITEC / WSQ certificate or massage certification

2. Able to commit work on weekends/public holidays

3. 6 days work week

4. Minimum 1 year of relevant experience

What are we looking for?

KidsFirst is ideally looking for practitioners who meet the following requirements:

• Possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Speech and Language Pathology
• Relevant working experience as a paediatric Speech and Language Therapist in a school or individual therapy setting minimum 6 years
• Evident proficiency in English Language and well spoken
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Fully AHPC registered and able to supervise
• Manage caseload independently, and provide mentoring to junior team members
• Ability to work well in a team, as well as independently
• Maintain files and/or records for the purpose of documenting activities and/or follow standard operational procedures
• Participate in a collaborative model with all team members
• Preparation of material/responses to guide parents and provide assessment
• Planning and implementing Individualized Education Plan (IEP)
• Ensure client satisfaction and service delivery
