Job summary:

We are looking for a dedicated accounts executive for general ledger to be responsible for maintaining and organizing financial records, ensuring data accuracy, and checking figures for accuracy.

Job Responsibilities:

* Responsible for period-end closing activities such as GL Journal entries, bank reconciliation and ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing of accounts.

* Prepare and perform review on Balance Sheet and P&L monthly schedules.

* Prepare monthly reporting package for group consolidation purpose.

* Tax reporting and compliance (e.g. GST/WHT/Corporate Income Tax).

* Support internal audit, statutory audit and related matters.

* Prepare monthly financial & management reports and the related analysis and commentaries.

* Support the preparation of the yearly budget. Perform financial analysis of actual results against budget/forecast.

* Responsible and maintain Fixed Asset Register and Inventory Register.

* Establish and enforce policies and procedures; provide trends and forecasts; explain processes and techniques; recommend actions.

* Improve on current processes, procedure and internal controls as required.

* Handle ad hoc assignments and projects as and when required

Requirements:

* Minimum NITEC in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

* Minimum 2-3 years of general ledger experience.

About the Shared Services Team

Responsibilities

This role reports to the Assistant Director of Corporate Services & Governance at Dsg, and your responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

1. Work closely with assigned Dsg divisions, understanding their needs and providing them support in key administrative tasks. Types of support may include but are not limited to organising/filing documents, organising meetings with stakeholders, consolidating data and reports, providing logistics support for programmes, etc.
2. Provide administrative support in the post-award phase for Dsg’s grants and schemes, including sponsorships and honoraria. Types of support may include but are not limited to processing disbursements of approved funds, verifying supporting documents, tracking milestone deliverables from recipients, preparing data reports, etc.
3. Assist in the development and implementation of new operational work processes for the above to ensure compliance with governance controls (ie, legal, financial and audit requirements) without compromising efficiency.
4. Suggest and implement ways to improve/streamline work processes and systems, including conducting periodic reviews.
5. Handle relevant procurements for SS
6. Monitor and track SS’s key performance indicators
7. Handle any other operational and administrative matters as required.

Requirements

To meet the challenges of this role, you must be/have:

1. A diploma with at least 3 years of related and relevant administrative experience. Prior experience related to grant administration will be an advantage.
2. Responsible and detail-oriented with strong organisation, planning and time management skills.
3. Good communication and interpersonal skills to engage both internal and external stakeholders, as well as a desire to meet the needs of others.
4. Able to work both independently and as a team, and willing to take on challenges and new initiatives.

Responsibility

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Warehouse Operations Executive to join our team in managing and optimizing freight transport arrangements within our warehouse operations. As a Warehouse Operations Executive, you will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring efficient workflows within the warehouse.

Job Description

* Coordinate the inbound and outbound movement of goods, ensuring timely and cost-effective transport arrangements.

* Maintain accurate inventory records, monitor stock levels, and conduct regular audits to prevent discrepancies.

* Oversee the fulfillment of customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timely dispatch of goods.

* Collaborate with freight carriers, logistics partners, and transportation providers to optimize shipping routes and negotiate favorable terms.

* Prepare and maintain shipping documents, customs paperwork, and other necessary documentation for international and domestic shipments.

* Implement quality control measures to ensure that goods are handled and packaged appropriately to prevent damage during transit.

* Streamline warehouse operations to improve overall efficiency and reduce turnaround times.

* Work closely with internal teams, including procurement, sales, and customer service, to coordinate order fulfillment and address any logistical issues.

* Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations, customs requirements, and safety standards.

* Address and resolve any issues or delays in the transportation process promptly to minimize disruptions.

* Identify opportunities for cost optimization in freight transport and warehouse operations.

*Able to carry heavy goods, about 20Kg-30Kg.

* Able to work on Weekend, Sunday and Public Holiday, and willing to work overtime.

Job Description:

· Assist in student admission, student orientation and student support services.

· Ensure Fee Protection Scheme (FPS) and student medical insurance are in place and updated timely.

· Ensure FPS, student medical insurance, fee refund, course transfer, course withdrawal, appeal and feedback/complaint processes are in place and students are briefed on these policies and procedures.

· Responsible for all Student Contracts and Student P-Files

· Assist in monitoring student attendance and progression.

· Responsible for all student support services, including application for student pass and visa, FPS and student medical insurance.

· Managing student complaints, administering student feedback and annual student satisfaction surveys, and analyzing data for continuous improvement.

· Assist in the cleanliness and maintenance of EIC’s facilities and assets.

· Assist students in management of courses, marketing progress and attending to enquires.

· Assist in the management of academic and admin departments.

• Experience: At least 3 years of experience in student guidance and wellness support

Role Overview: As a Security Agency Accounts Specialist, you will play a vital role in managing the financial operations of our agency. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Prepare, process payroll (weekly/monthly/daily/OT bi-monthly).
• Prepare, check, and process OT payments bi-monthly, including managing timesheets and payment methods.
• Conduct weekly and monthly advance preparation of payroll, verifying attendance records and transferring funds to the bank.
• Conduct periodic financial analyses and reconciliations to identify discrepancies and ensure data integrity.
• Manage payroll processing, tax filings, and other related tasks in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop and monitor budgets, track expenses, and provide financial insights for decision-making.
• Assist with the annual audit process and liaise with auditors to ensure a smooth and successful audit.
• Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraudulent activities.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations to ensure compliance and recommend process improvements.
• Support financial planning and forecasting activities to drive business growth and profitability.
• Provide guidance and support to other departments regarding accounting-related matters.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or relevant certification preferred).
• Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in the security industry or a related field.
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and relevant regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel (experience with QuickBooks is a plus).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities to meet deadlines effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information with integrity.
