Our brand, marketing and digital team help position us as thought leaders amongst our target markets in the areas we most want to be known for, by creating intuitive and engaging collateral, events and campaigns.
As part of the business development team, you will play a hands-on role in contributing to the firm’s success and helping to achieve its objectives. This could be as one of our business development professionals, coaching partners on relationship building, or building our brand as one of our marketing, design or events professionals.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Development Executive to join the SE Asia Business Development Team. As part of the team, you will play a hands-on role in contributing to the firm’s success and helping to achieve its objectives.
We are looking for someone who can provide high quality BD assistance to the Singapore office and the wider Asian practice. You will assist in the formulation and implementation of business development plans, help drive firm-wide or regional BD initiatives as well as assist in the preparation of pitches, proposals and tender submissions. The successful candidate will forge solid relationships with sector and regional peers as well as advocating the aims of the firm's business development agenda and guiding their implementation.
Skills, experience and qualifications :
- Appropriate undergraduate/postgraduate degree qualification(s)
- At least three years' experience working in a BD role in a law firm or other professional services environment
- Be business fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Be an effective team-player & have highly developed interpersonal skills
- Be tenacious, with the energy and passion to drive new business initiatives, influence partners and analyse and deliver results
- Have strong organisational skills and attention to detail, as well as the ability to assimilate information quickly and handle multiple priorities under pressure or within tight timescales
- Knowledge of client management and related systems useful
- Be committed to a process of continual improvement
