Job responsibilities:

We are looking to hire a commendable executive chef to manage our kitchen staff and to resolve kitchen issues swiftly. The executive chef attracts and retains staff, maintains a cooperative relationship with team members, optimizes staff productivity, and serves as a replacement in team members' absence. You will train staff to use new recipes, cooking techniques and equipment, and oversee cooks performing food preparation. You will oversee the delivery of food supplies, prepare special dishes, and supervise overall kitchen operations during dinner service.

Executive Chef Responsibilities:

• Ensuring promptness, freshness, and quality of dishes.
• Coordinating cooks' tasks.

• Reviewing staffing levels to meet service, operational, and financial objectives.
• Hiring and training kitchen staff, such as cooks, food preparation workers, and dishwashers.

• Setting and monitoring performance standards for staff.
• Obtaining feedback on food and service quality, and handling customer problems and complaints.

Executive Chef Requirements:

• 4+ years of culinary education.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar position.
• Advanced knowledge of food professional principles and practices.
• Proficient knowledge of human resources management.
• Excellent knowledge of BOH systems, ordering and inventory.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Available to work on-call, shifts, after hours, over weekends, and on public holidays.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems, servers, and applications.
• Monitor system performance and ensure systems are running efficiently.
• Troubleshoot system issues and outages.
• Configure and maintain network infrastructure,including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Manage VPNs and remote access systems.
• Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures to protect systems from threats.
• Manage access controls, permissions, and user accounts.
• Regularly update systems and apply security patches.
• Review the network access log
• Provide technical support to end-users for system and network-related issues.

Competency Requirements

• Min Diploma in IT or equivalent
• Experience in Network, routing protocol

• Experience in VBA scripting
• Knowledge in software development will be an advantage

The candidate is expected to have interest in the domain areas of manpower, labour and HR.

Responsibilities

• Research, monitor and interpret economic, labour and HR trends and information
• Design and conduct surveys, collect and analyse salary, benefits and other manpower/HR data with the aim of providing valuable insights to HR leaders.
• Plan and execute HR projects along areas of salary benchmarking, benefits review, employee engagement and other talent management programmes.
• Strengthen employers’ policy position on workplace and workforce issues using a data driven approach.
• Execute commercial Manpower/HR consultancy projects
• Support content and delivery of workshops, events and seminars

Job Requirements

• Degree with a major in HR, Economics, Business, Statistics or other related disciplines
