Duties of Property Officer:

Reports to the Property or M&E Executive/ Manager with specific responsibilities for the smooth operation and efficient maintenance of all M&E system, equipment and facilities of the Property.

Responsibilities:

• Co-ordinate and assist the Property Executive/ Manager in daily operation of the M&E Services.
• Carry out periodic inspection, preventive and corrective maintenance as per schedules and upkeeping of all equipment.
• Perform weekly checks on the building's fire-protection system - main panel and sub-panels, including troubleshooting on failure of fire-protection system.
• Attend to owner or occupier's building automation system, fire protection system and carpark system
• Attend to enquiries, complaints of breakdown, service requests relating to the building services.
• Maintain inventory and requisite purchase of electrical/ mechanical parts/ accessories according to the SOP.
• Supervise contractors to ensure work are carried out in accordance with work specifications in service contract and are in acceptable standard.
• Follow up on progress of rectification works and report to the Property Management team timely.
• Respond and attend to all emergency calls, after office hours and for reinforcement of manpower during major breakdown of equipment.
• Perform troubleshooting on any failure to the building's electrical/ mechanical system.
• Other duties in the building that may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

• N/ O Levels with at least 1 year's experience as building technician.
• Nitec / Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Building Services / Facility Management or other relevant field.
• Familiar with maintenance of building system, equipment and facilities.
• Ability to work as a team player as well as work independently.
• Open to work on rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Must be able to commit to 5.5 days.

Job Responsibilities

Project Delivery:

• You will partner with client sponsors/ leadership to shape the change vision and translate it into a change management strategy and are responsible for these change deliverables – change plan, change impact assessment, leadership alignment, stakeholder engagement and communications strategy, learning strategy, behavior change strategy, change effectiveness survey, business benefits realization, adoption and embedment strategy.
• Define the skills, structures, tools and support mechanisms required to deliver the change initiatives; this includes being able to identify the learning interventions to skill clients’ target audience (internal staff, or external users) to operate in the new technologies adopted, or new ways of working. Provide strategic guidance and leadership to the team and ensure team’s deliverables are completed on schedule, to a high level of quality and to client satisfaction.
• Manage team’s delivery risks and issues, drive innovation and sharing of best practices within the team. Drive change management integration with other impacted projects or process areas. Engage in collaborative and constructive dialogue with client sponsors/ leadership to evaluate progress against project objectives. • Lead the development of client proposals that fulfils the clients’ needs; this may either be a pure talent-related proposal or be a part of a larger system implementation proposal. The ability to work with a much larger technical team is required.

Job Requirement

• Minimum of 10 years of change management and/or human capital consulting experience. Internal HR consulting or HR-related experiences would also be considered.
• Experience in other related areas such as Talent Management, Learning & Skilling, Operating Model & Organization Effectiveness (e.g. Organization Design, Culture Transformation, Leadership Effectiveness etc) is highly preferred.
• Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
• Comfortable working with digital solutions in an information systems/technology-driven environment
• Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
• Ability to create and deliver high-impact communications to senior audiences (written and oral) and facilitate complex discussions.
• Strong executive level relationship building skills.

What you'll be doing
You will collaborate closely with developers, UX designers, content designers, business owners, and quality assurance team to make sure the content DBS customers see on our apps is up to date and translated. This is a great role for anyone interested in learning about digital product design and development.

Here's how your week might look like
Your day-to-day work will be supporting various country product teams—onboarding signed-off UX design screens to our translation management tool and checking in with translators to make sure work is on track.

We don't expect you to be a writer or a translator yourself. If you can read Simplified and Traditional Chinese, that's great! But not absolutely necessary.
To keep up with the various projects you are supporting, you will attend sprint planning meetings and retrospectives.

Sometimes, there will be bugs. Not the flying, itchy kind, but the kind that causes apps to malfunction. When those bugs are related to content our users see, you will work with the team to get them sorted out.

Don't worry, you don't need to be a developer. This is not a technical role. It's about project management. What matters is that you are cool with learning to use new tools and interested in digital product development and UX design.

Digital products don't stand still. What was good yesterday is not good enough today. So we constantly keep improving our apps. Part of that is to update the content our customers see, and we need your help with that. You will project manage the content update release process to make sure stuff goes out on time and as it was intended!

Here are the experience and skills we'd love you to have
This role is not the common garden variety kind. It is a new kind of role, so we are open to people from different backgrounds and experiences.
What matters is that you are interested in UX design and digital product development.
Experience working with developers and UX designers will come in handy.

You know what Figma, Github, Lokalise and agile development are.

This role sits within the Design Standards team, and is based in Singapore. The Design Standards team creates our design language system and defines and steers the way we design digital services at DBS.
