• All ISO tank containers turn into depot, surveyors ensure to stick a yellow and red colour
• Sticker onto the Left-Hand Side of the corner post before off load.
• Surveyors must coordinate with the Leese/Lessor independent surveyor for joint inspection.
• As part of a Surveyors duties, ensure to conduct thorough inspection after the cleaning, repaired and testing completed.
• Surveyors must thoroughly inspect the Tank Containers and raised estimates after the cleaning completed.
• Surveyors must report to the supervisor on all documentation of ISO Tank containers before sending to customers
• Surveyors will conduct Pre/Post inspection, if require by Customers. (Before Repair and After Repaired)
• As a surveyors must obtain instruction from the Supervisor.
• Surveyors must inform the Side Lifter Drivers to shift the Tank Containers into the
• workshop area for repair when Customers given the approval to repair.
• Surveyors must hand over the approved estimates to the Repairer Supervisor afterthe tank containers shifted into the repair bay.
• Surveyors ensure the repairer repair items accordingly indicated on the estimates and repair standard complies to ITCO/ACC or Owner criteria.

*Procurement Management:*

1. Conduct market research on Singapore material market, including government regulations, manufacturer resources, and material production standards.

2. Coordinate subcontracting bidding and inquiry work.

3. Manage domestic material suppliers, including potential supplier inspections, data collection, and qualified supplier reviews.

4. Receive, review, and register procurement plans in the ledger.

5. Conduct bidding/inquiry procurement, prepare and review bidding documents, and negotiate contracts.

*Logistics and Supply Chain Management:*

1. Familiarity with Singapore customs policies and procedures.

2. Research domestic transportation agents, ports, customs clearance processes, and permit requirements.

3. Track shipment of domestic equipment, manage customs clearance documents, and publish shipping information.

4. Manage unloading ships at ports, customs clearance, and domestic transportation.

5. Ensure transportation safety and obtain necessary permits for large-scale transportation.

Data Management and Administration:

1. Maintain procurement management ledgers (planning, contract, invoice, guarantee).

2. Organize and archive paper-based materials.

3. Manage funding plans, review and submit domestic procurement invoices, and track payments.

4. Balance inventory management of domestically procured materials.

5. Utilize project cost management software.

*Risk Management and Quality Control:

1. Identify and control procurement management risks.

2. Lead quality control of domestically procured materials.

3. Ensure delivery schedules meet project milestone requirements.

4. Manage safety of unloading and transportation of materials.

*Claims and Insurance:*

1. Provide documents required for insurance claims (bills of lading, certificates of origin, etc.).

2. Coordinate logistics companies to issue damage, loss, and accident report materials.

Purpose of the Role

The Solution Manager is responsible for the effectiveness of solution design in PSABDP contract logistics function globally. This role is focused on analysing complex information from various angles and creating cost-efficient, operationally viable, and innovative solutions to meet customer needs. Additionally provide support for the operational improvement and reengineering of existing processes and setups to maintain competitive cost levels.

Key Responsibilities

Customer (Internal & External)

§ Liaise with PSABDP customers and business development staff to understand customer supply chain requirements

§ Provide analysis and design support in the pursuit of new business, operational implementations and re-engineering initiatives

§ Collect and analyze data relating to logistics operations

§ Utilize PSABDP’s Standard tools for developing, modeling, evaluating and selecting appropriate solution options

§ Clearly outline solutions in appropriate formats for presentation to customers. Participate in customer presentations where required

§ Drive collaborative efforts between country and product leaders within PSABDP to meet the customer needs

§ Work with external consultants to deliver solution design projects namely customer RFQ responses, renewal

§ Provide guidance to subordinates in complex solutions design

Process

§ To gather data collection and verification of assigned project

§ To discuss and alignment on designed solutions with Contract Logistics Head, operation team, Business Development team and other key stakeholders before submission

§ To generate and update documents for knowledge management based on individual experience of Business Development and projects completed.

§ To innovate and improve in working practices facilitating to the development of the team methodology

§ To promote the best practice with peer manner and team attitude. For example, development of resource planning, development of Knowledge Management

§ To support a continuous improvement activity for current operations

§ To act as the internal focal point for access to Logistics Solutions expertise

§ To ensure that all recommended solutions, implementation plans, meet the requirements

§ To provide general local administrative support to divisionally based business development and solutions team members

§ To report on agreed format on monthly basis, information required for development team meetings

§ Develop effective customer presentation of the appropriate solutions as part of the pursuit teams

§ To develop a productivity data base of existing operations and cost database of vendors, assets/Capex, Labor, MHE, Costs, and all other information used in developing Solutions.

Required Skills, Experience and Educational Qualifications

Experience

· 5+years’ experience with a wide variety of solution design across different industries. Experience in Life Sciences, Chemical, Electronics & related verticals will be seen a positive

· Experience in working with regional/ global teams

· Demonstrable understanding of logistics and supply chain management design principles, and demonstrates the ability to utilize this understanding in the sales process

· Understanding in market sectors outside of our core listed above

Education

· Degree in relevant discipline

· Masters in relevant discipline

Job Responsibilities:

• Deliver and collection of equipment/parts with the Lorry or Van.
• Ferrying staff to site or drop off points with the van.
• Handling of import & export documentation and preparing the necessary shipping documents.
