General Job Description
The role supports the Project Manager/Implementation Manager in executing implementation and enhancement projects for both internal and external stakeholders. This includes collaborating with internal teams (Department Managers, Operations Managers, Regional Account Managers) and external clients to successfully onboard and stabilize new business operations.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Plan, Manage, and Execute: Oversee the implementation and onboarding of new businesses.
2. Support Projects and Initiatives: Assist the Program/Project Manager with various internal and external customer projects by:

• Creating GANTT charts.
• Designing project flow diagrams.
• Developing and documenting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Conducting training sessions for local branch offices.
• Managing key progress meetings and providing regular updates to stakeholders.
• Automating reports.
• Enhancing and deploying Electronic Data Interchange (EDI).
• Implementing new EDI solutions with IT teams.
• Driving process improvements.
• Creating and reviewing Work Instructions (WI) developed by other account teams.
• Offering consultation and business support to Regional IT.
  

Skillset Requirements:

1. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Teams, Word, and PowerPoint.
2. Quick adaptability to new systems and software.
3. Experience in freight forwarding operations, with knowledge of exports or imports (preferably both).
4. Strong attention to detail and excellent schedule management.
5. Effective time management skills.
6. A collaborative team player.
7. Responsible, with the ability to work remotely and meet deadlines.
8. Strong interpersonal skills.
9. Excellent command of written and spoken English; additional language proficiency is a bonus.

Experience and Qualifications:

1. Preferbyl Diploma/ Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, International Business, or related fields.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in the freight forwarding/logistics industry & familiar with either air or ocean freight operations

As a Technician LS1, you will be responsible for overseeing manufacturing operations.

In this role, a typical day will include:

· To operate manufacturing equipment to produce and/or package contact lenses.

· To operate autoclave to sterilise contact lenses.

· Ensure contact lenses are manufacturing to the best quality level possible.

· Perform activities in compliance to Good Manufacturing Practices in a controlled and regulated environment.

· To ensure compliance to Data Integrity such that information is attributable, legible, contemporaneous, original and accurate.

· Perform all production activities at various stages under cleanroom environment and to work as a team with cross-functional team member to achieve production targets in compliance with cGMP, quality and safety requirements. Handle production tasks and ensures daily target and highest product quality are achieved.

· To maintain the quality standard of Contact Lens manufacturing

· To meet the yield, equipment performance and uptime of the LTs being assigned

· To perform IPC (in process check) such as Visual Lens Inspection and Operator Packaging check.

· To schedule contact lenses to be sterilised within 12 hrs.

· To perform simple machine setup eg Ink change

· To support maintenance activities and troubleshoot machine issues

· To maintain 5S in the production floor

· To participate in Kaizen project for continuous improvement in manufacturing performance

· Perform GxP cleaning and production end waste disposal.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

· NITEC in Engineering with 1-2 years of working experience in manufacturing

· Comfortable to assist in pushing of rolling carts that weighs 300kg.

· Perform inspection of lenses under increased lighting and magnification.

1. Perform cellar activities to ensure proper wine storage and operational efficiency.
2. Cellar activities include receiving inventory, putting items away, and updating stock. Picking, packing, shipping, and performing cycle counts, along with regular housekeeping, are also essential.
3. ERP record maintenance.
4. Shipping documentation and coordination with the shipping line/agent.
5. Permit declaration.
6. Prepare inventory, movement and other reports as required.
7. Sales Co-ordination and wine events support.

Requirement:

• Preferable Diploma in any discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse and distribution, wines & spirits preferable.
• Proficient in MS Office - Excel (Vlookup/Xlookup/pivot table in particular), Word, and PowerPoint.
• SAGE ERP is preferable if you are proficient in any WMS/ERP system.
• Honest and hardworking.
• Possessing a class 3 driving licence and owning a vehicle would be an added advantage.

Preferred experience in the wine and spirit industry.
