Our client is a leading player in Manufacturing industry. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Logistics Coordinator to be part of their Logistics Team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the East - easily accessible.

Duties of Logistics Coordinator:

• Ensure accurate and timely documentation for all incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Update and maintain material movement records in the system and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Collaborate with warehouse and internal departments to align on requirements and priorities.
• Perform timely transactions in the SAP system and archive all related documents.
• Manage the purchase of indirect materials and generate weekly/monthly stock count sheets.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, arrange local deliveries, and handle RMA documentation.
• Maintain departmental safety and cleanliness standards.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and perform additional duties as assigned by the Logistics Manager.

Requirements:

• Relevant logistics experience

• Operate forklifts safely to move, load, and unload goods.
• Assist with receiving, sorting, and storing items to maintain accurate inventory.
• Pick, pack, and label goods for timely and accurate delivery.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, and check equipment regularly.
• Follow safety rules, company policies, and WSH guidelines, including safety drills.
• Handle inventory tasks like receiving, packing, unpacking, and storing stock.
• Monitor and manage stock levels promptly using proper methods.
• Perform additional duties as needed, such as housekeeping, maintenance, and technical tasks.

Requirements:

• Physically fit and able to work long hours outdoors.
• Strong organizational skills to coordinate with customers, suppliers, and team members.
• Willing to learn and work overtime when required (overtime pay provided).
• Must have a valid Class 3 driving license.
• Forklift license is an advantage.
