Procurement officers are responsible for evaluating suppliers, products, and services, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that approved purchases are cost-efficient and of high quality.

• Following and enforcing the company's procurement policies and procedures.
• Reviewing, comparing, analyzing, and approving products and services to be purchased.
• Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.
• Maintaining good supplier relations and negotiating contracts.
• Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Business Administration
• At least 1 years of relevant working experience in fulfilment and logistics role
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Responsibilities

• Shipping Documentation: Prepare and manage shipping documents, including invoices and bills of lading, daily.
• Document Accuracy: Ensure all shipping documents are accurate, complete, and comply with industry regulations and company standards.

• Document Control: Maintain an organized document control system for easy retrieval and reference.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 - 3 years of Logistics experience - preferably handling import & export shipping documentation
• Proficient in Ms Office suites (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Familiarity in INCO terms and ERP systems would be advantageous
• Foundational knowledge in Trade Compliance is an added advantage

Our client is a leading player in Manufacturing industry. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Logistics Coordinator to be part of their Logistics Team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the East - easily accessible.

Duties of Logistics Coordinator:

• Ensure accurate and timely documentation for all incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Update and maintain material movement records in the system and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Collaborate with warehouse and internal departments to align on requirements and priorities.
• Perform timely transactions in the SAP system and archive all related documents.

Responsibilities

• General Ledger Management: Maintain and update the general ledger with accurate and timely entries.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent.
• Min 2 years of related working experience for junior role and 5 years for the senior position, preferably in the airfreight and logistics industry.
• Well versed in Microsoft Office applications (Word & Excel).
