About the role:
The incumbent will be part of the Sustainability Team and will support the Sustainability Manager in implementing sustainability/reducing environmental impact across the company’s operations.
What you will be doing:
- Sustainability projects implementation and Continuous Improvement, with a strong focus on developing our Scope 3 Downstream Reduction Projects:
o Main topics revolve around Green trucking solutions and Sustainable Packaging
o In direct contact with the Operations Team, Analysts, Procurement, Vendors, and Customers
o Calculation and presentation of environmental and cost impact
o Co-create and track project roadmaps
o On a constant look out for innovative solutions and sustainable alternatives
o Research on sustainability topics to build up knowledge database
- Support the tracking, consolidation and analysis of sustainability Key Performance Indicators on a monthly basis
- Maintain visualization dashboard of these KPIs
- Support some of our Building Efficiency Projects implementation in partnership with our Senior Sustainability Officer (Energy) and Facility Teams.
The successful candidate
- Bachelor’s Degree or above in CSR, Environment, Sustainability or Business Management.
- Some professional experience with a deep interest in, and a general awareness of, sustainability issues. Good understanding of sustainability stakes applied to the logistics industry is preferred.
- Passion, knowledge and drive to create a more sustainable world
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Tableau is a plus
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Excellent organisational skills, ability to own projects and work independently
- Ability to multitask is necessary
- Solid written and verbal communication skills, familiarity with business writing
- Knowledge of Project Management tools and techniques
- Familiarity with carbon calculation with tools such as GHG protocol is a plus
