As a Logistics Supplier Manager in ASML Singapore office, you are responsible for the logistics (delivery) and operational performance of a selected number of suppliers. You work with suppliers on performance monitoring, solve supply issues and drive supply improvements, for example capacity expansion, cycle time reduction, risk analysis and reduction. You work closely together with the supplier team, quality supplier manager, procurement account managers and New Product Supply Chain Engineers from ASML. Depending on the complexity and exposure of the account, you are member of the Supplier Account Team. Main areas of interest are material availability, process optimization and supplier development.
Role and responsibilities
- Assess and secure suppliers’ capacity of materials, manpower, machines, and method to fulfill ASML’s short-term demand and long-term forecast
- Optimize output of the supplier and n-tiers to meet ASML demand and demand changes
- Review demand, supply, and forecast regularly with internal and external stakeholders and take necessary actions to close the gap
- Proactively execute supply chain risk analysis and execute action plans to eliminate risks
- Manage escalations to solve bottlenecks in supply chain and avoid re-occurrence
- Early engage with the transition from NPI to high volume to ensure supply continuity after the transition
- Continuously drive process and manufacturing improvements at suppliers to solve structural bottlenecks in their supply chain (and in their n-tiers supply chain) and to secure 95% on-time delivery
- Co-work with various internal and external stakeholders, including procurement, engineers, project managers, factory, suppliers, etc., to negotiate resources, achieve alignments, and drive results to meet business goals
Education and experience
- Bachelor or Master degree in engineering, business and supply chain management
- 5 – 15 years relevant work experience in a similar role
- Experience with supply chain processes in production environment
- Experience in improvement projects in supply chain, preferably in High-tech industry
- Experience in relationships with suppliers
