The Transport Manager - Logistic Operation oversees the transport and supply teams to ensure high performance and a positive work environment.

Responsibilities include managing fleet scheduling and routing to optimize efficiency and reduce costs, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and conducting regular safety audits.

The role involves budget management, tracking transportation expenses, and implementing cost-saving initiatives while maintaining service quality. Collaboration with customer service is essential for resolving delivery issues and meeting customer expectations.

The candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in logistics, strong knowledge of fleet management and safety regulations, and proficiency in relevant software.

Job Requirements

• Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team

• Ensure compliance with customer’s requirements
• Ensure that all jobs are monitored, costs, selling figures are accurately & timely updated in system
• Ensure all event data are updated correctly in system, close file with completeness

Job Description:

- Desk bound job.

- Complete Declaration at stipulated rate per day and per hour with full compliance.

- Maintain account assigned for exception declarations.

- Follow up on daily shipment holds and find solutions in a timely manner to process the customs clearance

- Respond to phone and email enquiries on brokerage- related services

- Prepare and provide various reports in a timely manner to meet customers’ timelines

Requirements:

- Able to handle pressure & adapt in a fast-pace environment

- Knowledge in Mircosoft Excel is a must
