What You’ll have

Key Responsibilities

• To monitor inbound shipments, update tracking, provide updates to stakeholders, coordinate customs clearance and unloading at 3PL
• To coorindate smooth clearance of inbound shipments with forwarders and perform timely Goods Receipt into SAP system.
• To handle daily shipments received from customer and coordinate with appointed 3PL service providers to execute in a timely manner. Process includes; empty return's collection, prompt response to enquiries and the management of customer
• To perform regular return shipment of empty canisters and cylinders to customer's plants
• Responsible for timely updates of assigned reports
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned from time to time

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Ensure safe and timely collection and delivery of cargoes to and fro airport, port, customers’ premises, Company warehouse or other designated locations
• Perform loading and unloading of cargoes whilst checking conditions of cargoes and reporting any damages or discrepancy to the immediate supervisor
• Ensure that cargoes are secured and properly protected during delivery
• Review orders before delivery, obtain endorsement of delivery from customers and to accept cash on delivery whenever applicable to ensure that orders are complete
• Submit delivery orders and cash collected to transport coordinator and/or authorised personnel in the absence of the transport coordinator
• Prompt communication of delay in fulfilment of orders and accidents to the transport coordinator
• Check availability and ensure replenishment of stretch film, pallet jack and trolley before delivery
• Upkeeping the cleanliness and hygiene of the assigned truck
• Inspect assigned truck periodically and report any abnormalities or mechanical failures to the transport administrator to arrange for repair and servicing
• Serve as a brand advocate and ambassador; and provide excellent customer service in every interaction with clients and the public
• Comply with company regulations and rules at all times
• Perform general works and/or other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and/or authorized personnel

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must possess a valid Class 4 driving licence
• Must be familiar with Singapore roads
• Experienced in operating 24 footer/10 tons truck with tailgate/canopy
• Able to read and comprehend basic English
• Possess basic Math skills

What the Role Involves

1. Keep track of receiving Ocean Freight Forwarding Division., Supplier through email or by post.
2. Register Supplier invoice date and number before sending the invoices for verification and approval to PIC of Ocean Freight Forwarding Division.
3. Follow up with chaser emails for return of Supplier Invoices after deadline of submission by Ocean Freight Forwarding Division.
4. Check and post Supplier invoices into YUNAS
5. Prepare cheque/GIRO payment to Suppliers on monthly basis.
6. To reconcile Account Payable on monthly basis
7. To complete analysis of long outstanding Accrual Report
