As a Senior Engineer, Facilities you are tasked to drive site sustainability goals and improvement program at Tuas. In this role, a typical day will include:

Responsibilities

• Teamwork with functions like Facilities, Environment Health & Safety, Operation etc. to review and update site energy and water improvement roadmap and plans.
• Tracking and monitoring of energy and water performance trending and distribution.
• Work with vendors and contractors to identify potential opportunities for energy and water efficiency improvement to deliver KPI.
• Exploring latest technologies & innovations in sustainability and work with contractors for implementation.
• Yearly submission of ECA (Energy Conservation Act) and WEMP (Water Efficiency Management Plan).
• Planning towards certification for ISO 50001 Energy Management System
• 5 working days i.e. Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm

What You'll Bring to Alcon

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Facilities Engineering or related field of studies.
• SCEM (Singapore Certified Energy Manager) certification
• 2-3 years relevant experience in leading sustainability and knowledge of ACMV/HVAC, Compressors, Building Management / Automation System.
• Project management skill
• Computer skills in MS Office i.e. Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Team player and able to work well in a team setting to achieve goals.
