Job Description:

• Participate in Planning for logistics handling in both long term and short term perspective
• Mitigate the issue / problem encounter during the operation
• Participate in fine-tuning and improvising of SOP
• Timely updating of OBUM (OBU management system)
• Timely updating of internal inventory reports
• Verifying Contractor’s WMS report
• Vetting and preparation for Delivery Order, shipping documents for both import and export
• Preparation and compiling of reports before official submission to relevant agency
• Coordinate with supplier & contractor for inbound & outbound deliveries, stock-take as and when required.
• Overseeing and processing for both outgoing and
• incoming shipments
• Manage the storage of parts and items for maintenance usage
• To Raise Purchase Requisition in Intramart
• Handle any other related ad-hoc assignments as and when required

About the role

The incumbent will be part of a larger team within the ExP department in providing seamless and customer-focused solutions to support the achievement of business objectives. 

What you will be doing

• Attend to inbound cargo receiving and releasing of outbound cargo. 
• Data entry into warehouse management system to maintain accurate inventory. 
• Periodical physical inventory checks. 
• Attend to container stuffing and unstuffing. 
• Attend to basic packing and repacking tasks. 
• Ensure sub-contractors adopt safe work practice at all times. 
• Any other task assigned by the Supervisor or Manager 

The successful candidate

• At least 3 years working experience in warehousing. 
• Possess 3ton forklift license. 
• Physically fit for general warehouse activities. 
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office. 
• Knowledge to operate a Warehouse Management System. 
• Willing to be activated during weekends for urgent shipment (ad-hoc basis)  

• Acquiring and developing product, Company and industry knowledge by self-tuition, and attending training courses that are identified.
• Assisting in developing sales opportunities and maintaining a high Company profile.
• Processing and managing sales orders.
• Generate sales order schedules from templates when required by customer.
• Maintaining regular and frequent contact with customers by Outside Sales.
• Promoting and providing continuous and effective after-sales support.
• Liaising with other departments with regard to pertinent day to day operations and orders in hand.
• This will include progress reporting, monitoring of shipping / logistics, preparation and expediting of sales orders, shipping instructions, and invoicing.
• Generating request documentation for procedures and service manuals, and liaising with service department and customers to ensure correct and timely availability of manuals / procedures.
• Sourcing drawings, technical information, and data as required.
• Liaising with Aftermarket on customer requirements for customer property or rental tools.
• Participating in production meetings sales order review meetings.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Business.
• Preferably with 3-5 years experience in the Manufacturing sector
