Requirements

• NITEC/ A Level / Diploma in SCM or Logistics – Minimum 1-2 years’ experience
• Knowledge in courier booking (Fedex, DHL & UPS)
• Familiarity with logistics and warehouse distribution preferred
• Ability to organize own area of work and work independently with min. supervision
• Requires both verbal and written communication skills
• Strong planning and analytical decision-making skills
• Ability to assume greater roles of responsibility
• Enthusiastic, Motivated and possess “Can-Do” attitude

• Location: Central & West (Has to be comfortable working at 3 different locations)

Resonsibilities:

• To manage and account common assets and inventory at the three primary locations.
• Activities include the managing of database and process asset/inventory receipts, transfers and disposal via Authorities IT systems.
• To administer the receiving, storage and distribution of assets at storehouse.
• To conduct cyclical stocktake for common assets and assets held within Authority premises.
• To support timely response to employees’ enquiries on logistics matters.
• To assist supervisors with periodic audit checks and preparation of audit reports.
• To meet the quality service standards and customer satisfaction ratings as stipulated by the Authority.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Business Management or A-Level/ITE Certificate with relevant logistics experience
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office software/applications (e.g. Excel)

Our client is a leading player in Manufacturing industry. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Logistics Coordinator to be part of their Logistics Team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the East - easily accessible.

Duties of Logistics Coordinator:

• Ensure accurate and timely documentation for all incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Update and maintain material movement records in the system and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Collaborate with warehouse and internal departments to align on requirements and priorities.
• Perform timely transactions in the SAP system and archive all related documents.
• Manage the purchase of indirect materials and generate weekly/monthly stock count sheets.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, arrange local deliveries, and handle RMA documentation.
• Maintain departmental safety and cleanliness standards.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and perform additional duties as assigned by the Logistics Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage operations for import and export shipments, including preparation of necessary documentation.

• Liaise with shipping lines and forwarders for container bookings and vessel schedule checks.
• Perform data entry using the in-house system.
• Coordinate with transporters for container trucking arrangements.
• Submit inward lists to barge operators for Portnet declarations.
• Communicate with Indonesian counterparts regarding container issues.
• Submit Loading Confirmation reports to shipping liners and freight forwarders.
• Submit Verified Gross Mass (VGM) to the shipping liner's online platform.
• Apply for and process permits using Tradenet/Tradeweb.

Solution Design and Development (Pre-sales)

• Collaborate with clients to understand their logistics challenges and business objectives.

• Create detailed solution proposals, including process flows, resource requirements, and timelines.

Client Relationship Management:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the solution development and implementation phases.
