Job Description:

As an Accountant at Globe Logistics, you will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accurate reporting, and providing valuable insights to help drive business success. You will play a key role in maintaining our accounting system, managing invoicing, and supporting our daily operational requirement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update financial records using Xero accounting software.
• Prepare and reconcile financial statements and reports.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Process payroll and assist with tax filings (supported with Employment Hero)
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Monitor and manage cash flow.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Provide support during audits and assist with financial reporting.
• Communicate with vendors, clients, and other departments as needed.

Requirements:

• Singaporean or PR only.
• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, with hands-on experience using Xero accounting software.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Min. diploma/degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Has working experience in Logistics industry will have priority consideration.
