The Asia-Pacific region currently includes Australia, New Zealand, Vietnam, Sri Lanka and Singapore employing nearly 3000 team members.
We have an opportunity for a General Worker. This role is based in Mandai Link and reports to the Facilities Manager.
Key responsibilities include
· Cleaning and Maintenance of Facility Perimeter
o Perform general cleaning tasks around the facility perimeter, including sweeping, clearing debris, and maintaining outdoor cleanliness.
o Ensure outdoor bins are emptied and waste is disposed of appropriately.
o Carry out periodic grass cutting and surface cleaning as required.
· Interior Cleaning
o Conduct regular cleaning of common areas, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
o Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of toilets, corridors, and frequently used surfaces.
o Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies in common areas and restrooms.
· General Repairs and Maintenance
o Support minor repair tasks, including basic carpentry, fixture repairs, and structural adjustments.
o Assist with the upkeep of wooden materials, furniture, and general facility infrastructure.
· Painting and Floor Markings
o Perform occasional painting and floor marking tasks to maintain facility appearance and safety standards.
o Ensure painting tools and materials are properly maintained.
· Waste Management
o Operate and oversee waste management equipment, such as trash compactors.
o Manage waste segregation, disposal processes, and vendor coordination.
o Maintain cleanliness and organization in waste disposal areas.
· General Duties
o Assist in furniture arrangement, equipment setup, and basic plumbing tasks as needed.
o Carry out additional tasks assigned by management or immediate supervisors.
To be successful, you will have:
· Experience in cleaning, maintenance, or general labour roles.
· Basic carpentry skills, including the use of hand tools for repairs.
· Knowledge of painting techniques and safe handling of paint and related materials.
· Ability to use cleaning equipment (e.g., pressure washers) effectively and safely.
