• Education – Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• Other Qualifications:
• Hands-on experience with BI tools and report development.
  Proficiency in project management tools.
  Familiarity with AI/ML technologies and their application to enhance business processes and analytics.
  Ability to apply AI/ML methodologies to optimize workflows and decision-making.
  Strong understanding of maritime business processes, project management practices, and quality standards.
  Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, ideally within the maritime sector.
  Proven expertise in Business Application Support, BI tools, and managing small to mid-scale projects.
  Familiarity with fleet management systems is preferred.
  

Responsibilities

• To ensure that customer’s inbound and outbound shipments are coordinated / transacted as per procedures / work instructions.
• To ensure the timely and accurate administration / transaction of inbound and outbound shipments and as per internal / external KPI requirements.
• To work closely with operations team in the area of inbound, outbound and inventory related tasks.
• To coordinate with forwarder / transporter in the arrangement of inbound and outbound shipments.
• To ensure that working documents are progressed and archived with proper recording / filing system.
• To perform cycle count administration and general administration support to the operations team.
• To compile and submit routine operations data as per instructed.
• To compile and reconcile billing and operations data for submission to Customers / Manager / Executive.
• To perform on time purchase administration, vendor invoice administration and customer’s invoice verification / administration.
• To assume customer service function and ensure that all enquiries / requests / complaints are performed and or escalated to the attention of the superior.
• To ensure that any non-compliances or changes in the course of daily operation is conveyed to the superior.

Requirement

• Experienced in Warehouse Management Systems
• Able to work beyond office hours and on weekends where necessary.
• Good with Data Entry & Microsoft Excel.

• Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services
• Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle

• Plan and coordinate the movement of components and finished goods to and from APAC shipping and manufacturing facilities, including Third Party Manufacturers (TPMs), ensuring accurate customs clearance and bonded product status for inbound, outbound, and return shipments.
• Verify and report inbound product balances.
• Manage administrative tasks for return shipments.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners, such as forwarders, handling agents, and customs authorities.
• Monitor, report, and ensure the accuracy of daily KPIs, while safeguarding their compliance.
• Share responsibility for bonded warehouse management.
• Ensure adherence to bonded and preferential trade rules under applicable free trade agreements.
• Pursue further training in areas such as customs regulations, preferential trade rules, known-shipper requirements, and Incoterms.
• Plan and execute physical outbound shipments, ensuring on-time delivery and prioritizing dispatch schedules.
• Manage freight capacity for daily hauls, including truck planning and ordering.
• Execute outbound shipments daily to meet service requirements.
• Prepare and manage dispatch documents, ensuring compliance, conformity, and proper filing (e.g., transit documents, dangerous goods documents, unloading lists).
• Oversee document handovers to truck drivers and coordinate tracking, registration, and deployment of shipment trackers for sea freight and road transport.
• Collaborate with forwarding agents, customs brokers, and truck drivers to address and correct customs documentation and information flow.
• Review and resolve discrepancies in customs documentation and transit clearances through direct engagement with customs and third-party service providers.
• Administer all activities related to outbound shipments daily and ensure systems are updated accordingly.
• Maintain compliance with global transport regulations, including Known Shipper, IMDG, IATA, and ARD standards.

A successful 'Transportation Coordinator' should have:

• A relevant Degree/Diploma in Business, Logistics or a similar field.
• Prior internship experience in logistics or transportation coordination is a plus.
• Experience in SAP, Reporting Tool, Warehouse Management System is a plus.
• Knowledge of customs and preferential regulations is a plus.
