Coordinate with suppliers and the transportation team regarding delivery plans.
Monitor and order supplies to maintain suitable inventory levels.
Supervise warehouse staff and daily activities.
Verify the accuracy of orders, bills, received items, inventory, and deliveries.
Maintain inventory records, report relevant information, and prepare necessary documentation.
Ensure compliance with basic maintenance standards and health and safety regulations.
Conduct daily inspections of the warehouse grounds.
Communicate and coordinate with other departments and customers.
Load and unload steel drums from trucks, trailers, and the warehouse as needed.
Support the night shift from the 16th to the 31st, rotating with another Assistant Logistics Supervisor. Arrange early coverage with the other supervisor if urgent matters arise.
Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Logistics Team Leader to oversee and manage our logistics operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, a proven track record in logistics management, and expertise in strategic planning and project management. Key Responsibilities
1. Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 10-15 logistics professionals to ensure high performance
Foster a positive work environment that promotes collaboration and team engagement
Assign tasks, monitor progress, and provide guidance to achieve team objectives
2. Logistics Management:
Oversee end-to-end logistics operations, including inventory control, transportation, and warehouse management
Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services
3. Strategic Planning:
Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize logistics processes and improve operational efficiency
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in logistics and supply chain operations
4. Project Management:
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget

Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
Proven experience (5+ years) in a leadership role within the logistics or supply chain industry
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team of 10-15 individuals effectively
Strong strategic planning and project management skills
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency in logistics software and tools, with strong analytical skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Oversee and check proper loading/ unloading of goods
Liaise with freight forwarders, vendors, and customers for collection and delivery of goods in Singapore and overseas
Tracking of shipments
Ensure smooth execution of daily operational job orders and delivery arrangement
Respond and resolve urgent customer demand in a timely manner
Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Supervisor
