Position Summary

This position is responsible for guiding a team of logistic coordinators associates in the provision of logistics operational functions such as customer service, trucking coordination and the generation and maintenance of operations documents, reports, correspondence and expenses. • Working Hours: 5 days (Monday to Friday: 9 am-6 pm)
• Salary Package: Up to SGD 2800 + AWS + Variable Bonus
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Manage operations for import and export shipments, including preparation of necessary documentation.
• Monitor shipments and ensure receipt of shipping documents.
• Liaise with shipping lines and forwarders for container bookings and vessel schedule checks.
• Perform data entry using the in-house system.
• Coordinate with transporters for container trucking arrangements.
• Submit inward lists to barge operators for Portnet declarations.
• Communicate with Indonesian counterparts regarding container issues.
• Submit Loading Confirmation reports to shipping liners and freight forwarders.
• Submit Verified Gross Mass (VGM) to the shipping liner's online platform.
• Apply for and process permits using Tradenet/Tradeweb.
• Issue work orders to external and internal contractors.
• Verify billings from shipping lines and contractor invoices.
• Handle any other ad-hoc duties as required.

Our client is a global US MNC in the IT industry. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Logistics Coordinator be part of their Logistics Team for ongoing transformation projects.

Duties of Logistics Coordinator:

• Assist with daily warehouse operations, including picking, packing, and stock management.
• Maintain high accuracy in receiving, picking, and Warehouse Management System (e.g., SAP) processes.
• Monitor and respond to emails and handle general inquiries efficiently.
• Sort and organize inventory in line with established procedures.
• Provide administrative support, including document filing, scanning, and retrieval (e.g., PODs, invoices).
• Conduct regular stock-taking and cycle counting as assigned.
• Ensure punctuality and commitment, including availability for overtime when needed.
• Perform other tasks as directed by supervisors.

• Relevant experience
• Physically fit to carry loads up to 20kg

- Office located at Alps Avenue, Nearest MRT Station: Pasir Ris

- Desk bound job.

- Complete Declaration at stipulated rate per day and per hour with full compliance.

- Maintain account assigned for exception declarations.

- Follow up on daily shipment holds and find solutions in a timely manner to process the customs clearance

- Respond to phone and email enquiries on brokerage- related services

- Prepare and provide various reports in a timely manner to meet customers’ timelines

Requirements:

- Able to start work immediately

- 5 working day

- Possess good work ethics and positive attitude

- Able to handle pressure & adapt in a fast-pace environment

- Knowledge in Mircosoft Excel is a must

- Expect overtime on a regular basis
