Roles & Responsibilities

The Logistics Assistant (LA) reports to the CS/Executive and is responsible for the followings:

1.1 Comply to all safety, security, traffic regulations, PSA regulations and other government regulations

1.2 Perform daily warehouse operations activities for all accounts – Shipments, Inbound, Put Away, Relocation, Picking, Packing and Outbound in a timely and orderly manner

1.3 Ensure handle Vehicles are according to SOPs, customers’ requirements and safe work practices

1.4 Port clearance inspection checks with defects recorded and ensure all vehicles are checked; Bring relevant documents for Port clearance such as car list, Permits, etc. Report to PSA the number of head count working at PPAT and abide to their rules and regulation. Secure holding area for drivers to collect vehicles

1.5 Tally chassis number against vehicle list and check on vehicles for defects and submit defect report with photos to in-charge promptly

1.6 Tally container number and seal number provided before proceeding to Stuff/Unstuff container with required photos to be taken for reporting purposes

1.7 Ensure operational documents are filled up neatly, accurately and returned to the account holder timely and orderly

1.8 Perform daily tasks in timely and orderly manner to meet customers’ KPI (e.g. Vehicles send to request location, handover vehicle list to be signed, etc.) and ensure the correct forms are being use and the data are update accordingly

1.9 Rearranging vehicles to make space for new shipments/inbound

1.10 Transfer vehicles from inbound holding area or container to designated storage area and provide accurate location info promptly for in-charge to update timely

1.11 Perform periodic Cycle Count/Stock Take based on schedule given

1.12 Perform upkeeping and housekeeping of warehouse to meet 5S + 1 standards

1.13 Involve in Toolbox meeting, Gemba and report any findings found at any point of time

1.14 Coordinate and assist team members for completion of work related/Ad hoc jobs assigned

1.15 Assist in other warehousing activities; operating forklift (if possess a forklift license), power pallet jack, etc

Key Responsibilities:

>> Reporting directly to the Group Head Sommelier, you will assist him in managing the back office for the distribution of +500 SKUS and approx. 50,000 units, with thousands of bottles changing hands every month.

>> Maintain the warehouses inventory (Excel), update products portfolio (B2B and B2C) and wine delivery platforms (e-commerce back-end), such as reconciliation and location accuracy (physical stock).

>> Monitor closely the stock level available in duty free and duty paid warehouses for our affiliated restaurants.

>> Coordinate with office and third-party logistics providers (warehouses, freight forwarders, drivers) to ensure smooth inbound/outbound process.

>> Ensure B2B and B2C wine orders are picked and packed accurately and delivered on time, efficiently responding to inquiries and complaints concerning shipments discrepancies, if any.

Job Summary:

Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the Logistics Executive I is responsible for the smooth executions all AK Group and External Customers Orders under placed under his/her care. To coordinate and collaborate, monitor and patrol all logistics 3PLs to ensure smooth operation and reliability in the Group’s operation. • Transferring of ready Unserviceable Units (after Return Order Creation) to Workshop / Export holding area (for those directed to Sub-con)
• Final Packing & Shipment Booking for Export / Shipment to Customer / Sub-con within expected Turn-Around-Time
• Preparation of Shipping Document & Inventory post-out for approved out-going order shipment
• Filing of all related shipping / incoming document for MRO
• Any other tasks that may be assigned by management

Requirements:

• Min. O levels
• Working Experience in Warehousing or Store will be advantageous
• Basic Computer skills (e.g. Internet surfing, email, Microsoft office)

The Transportation Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing transportation policies, standards and steps taken. This is done in accordance to transportation business and customers' needs. He/She is also responsible for managing transport business resources, including manpower, resources and outside suppliers.

He/She is required to be capable and persuasive, in order to manage resources and obtain investment from partners. He/She is also expected to lead a department and make business decisions.

• Align resource management (manpower and asset) strategy with business strategy across different business activities.
• Anticipate emerging transport operations parameters to determine future resource requirements.
• Build a culture of business process improvements that extend beyond project life cycle.
• Communicate importance of achieving cargo handling timeframe outcomes with efficient use of resources.
• Communicate importance of achieving transportation operation timeframe outcomes with efficient use of resources.
• Communicate key messages resulting from transport operation's data analysis to key stakeholders.
• Develop the strategic positioning of transportation operation processes within warehousing or freight forwarding operations.
• Drive the successful completion of technology projects.

• Formulate vehicle fleet management strategy across different plans.
• Identify strategic priorities of each specific transport link in development of plans.

Working hours: Mon to Fri, 8:30am to 6pm

Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

• Team Collaboration and Progress Monitoring

o Oversee team activities, track performance, and report progress.

• Daily jobs receives and Scheduling Management

o Update and communicate on daily transportation schedules.

• TMS Optimization:

o Implement and improve Transportation Management System features.

• Monthly Billing and Invoicing:

o Prepare and submit accurate billing and invoices.

• Company Culture and Goals:

o Uphold company values and track goal progress.

• Shipment Coordination:

o Arranging import/export shipments and coordinating with freight partners and customers.

o Liaise with air/sea freight co-loaders, shipping lines, and transporters to ensure timely delivery of customer's shipments to/fro various destinations.

• Documentation Processing:

o Handle import/export documentation and ensure compliance.

o Process import/export shipping documentation (Delivery Order, Arrival Notice, Bill of Lading, Permits etc.)

o Other shipping documentation-related responsibilities.

• Administrative Duties:

o Perform billing, cost analysis, and payment follow-up tasks.

o Basic admin duties such as billing, costings, and payment follow-up.

Qualifications Summary

Experience:

• Min 1-2 years of experience in handling shipping/Transportation documentation.

• Experience in managing Air and Ocean freight shipments is preferred,

Education:

Minimum Qualification: GCE O Level
