• To source for suppliers and issue RFQ requests as per department procedures.
• Source, select and negotiate for the best purchase package in terms of quality, price, terms, deliveries and services with suppliers.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of supplies to vessels.
• Maintain updated purchasing records/data and pricing using the ERP software.
• To process invoices in the system and if necessary, to follow up with accounts to ensure payment in timely manner in accordance with procedures.
• Ensure competent quality execution of all regular purchasing duties and administrative works.
• Assist and participate in any other technical task as required in the office, mainly filing and up keep of technical reports.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience in similar job.
• Result oriented individual.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and general computer knowledge.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Organized & attentive to detail.
• Good interpersonal and leadership skills.

• Driving of Prime Mover

• Transportation of containers/cargoes safely as assigned

• Ensure the safety of cargo, documents, and vehicles

• Follow safety instructions & requirements at all times

Requirements:

• Able to read & write simple English

• Possess class 4 license

• Preferred experience with prime mover/flatbed or other related experience

• Good driving safety record

• Compliant to safety regulations
